✍ ABOUT THE PRODUCT: ************************************** Inspired by the sound quality and value for money of my previous purchase of a maono AU U3 portable bluetooth speaker, Got it for a friend for studio recording puposes & here are my observations of the product. ☝️ Packaging is quite simple with no attractive styrofoam cutouts or fancy colors.Even the outer pack is with minimal colors. Never mind , as far as the product quality is good, outer appearances dont matter much to me. 👍 The pack contains : 1.) A lavalier microphone with 6 meters of cable. 2.) 2 button batteries where 1 battery is extra. 3.) A 3.5 mm gold plated adapter for laptops & smartphones and a 6.5 mm adaptor for dslr cameras. 4.) A metal clip to fix the condensor. 5.) A wind muff . 6.) A user instruction manual. 7.) A small pouch to store the device. 👍 The overall construction of the mic is very sturdy yet very light.The cable thickness is ok for its extended length of 6 meters which can cover any major distance for interviews as well. 👍 The condensor mic is omni directional and records very crisp quality of audio and instruments upto a distance of 1 meters beyond which the intensity of sound decreases a bit. Sensitivity and background noise elimination is excellent making it a real value for money device. Even if you tap the mic, the disturbance recorded isnt irritating exactly. 👍 Since it comes with dual 3.5 mm with 6.5 mm adaptor , it can be used with a wide range of devices ranging from smartphones, laptops & dslr cameras. 👍 Comes with a 1 year warranty which is quite okay. 🔷️ FINAL VERDICT : ************************ All in all, after using this device for over a week, i must say that it has a durable construction and brilliant- sensitive yet noise free audio recording capability especially at this price point which is very rare. East to use; Just plug and play. Everything is okay with the product. In this price you are going to have a good experience with the microphone. Just plug it in your laptop/desktop and record. The audio pick-up is clear, crisp and without distortion or ambient noise and it actually reduces unnecessary background noise. The wire quality is acceptable and the connector is very slim, so you can plug it into your phone even with a thick case on, which is good. microphone one of the best mic of this price segment, sound quality very very excellent, this mic connected laptop, computer and other USB port devices This MIC has a perfect noice cancellation and also usefull to make videos... 1. Reasonable Rates as per Mike standard and quality. 2. Sound Quality is good, i am able to record clean voice even ceiling fan's noise bypassed without editing. 3. Build Material of this product was also good First of all it is my first microphone and I'm really hopeful for it. So here it goes. First of all this is complete package, mostly you will find that you have to buy microphone and its accessories individually but here you get all in one package. Secondly, if you look all these items which includes air filter, microphone stand, microphone head cover, microphone splitter, table clam, all are of iron and good quality. I've seem many such products being individually sold at higer prices. Thirdly, the quality of microphone lookwise is also very rich and premium. I mean you'll just love it. The sound quality that this mic gives at this price point is unbelievably GOOD! It competes with mics much higher than its price range. The mic is easy to use with both smartphones and PCs/Macs. The build quality is very good and metal has been used wherever possible. The wire is long and is made of a good material so it should last you for a long time. You also get extra foam covers, batterys and clips with the mic which is a great gesture by the company. The mic has good noise cancelling and records audio very nicely when attached to the collar of your shirt. You also get a 3.5 mm to 6.5 mm audio adapter in the box. This mic is hands down one of the best Lav mics for YouTube videos or stage programs or anything related to audio recording. You can surely go for it.

This is not helpful with noisy environment such as a fan running, dogs barking etc., but if you cant rely on your cheap mobile microphone which has very low audio pickup due to distance or even poor recording quality then this will do both well (note: highend smartphones recording quality is far superior than this microphone until/unless the distance between you and the phone is an issue). Yes for, 1. High gain voice recording 2. Good quality recording for the cheap price 3. Very long cable length 4. Above average build quality but definitely not cheaply built. 5. Nice storage pouch and batteries included. No for, 1. Noise cancellation 2. 3.5mm plug already came out of its sleeve lol, but i really pulled it quite hard out of the jack but it never happened before even with ultra cheap headphone cables so there you go the cheap price shows so be cautious there. Overall take extreme care handling with the cable otherwise it should work for the starters.

I used this product as soon as I received it and noticed that it does not record sound or I should say it records but when you playback you could hardly hear what you recorded, and that too noise not your voice. But, I did not put a review right away thinking that there could be fault at my end because it's the first time I used a mic with THIS (new) laptop, and I was thinking so because the laptop does not have two separate jacks for mic (in) and speaker (out). Then I bought a USB audio adapter to check it, but there was no difference. At that point, I should have returned the product but I did not. I thought I would buy an audio jack splitter, I received it just a while ago and tried recording but everything is same as before. Meanwhile, I also arranged a mic and found that one working well without a problem. What I should say here is, when I found that this product was not working, I was using my laptop's inbuilt mic from the beginning till today and it really amazed me by its quality. I did not try my inbuilt mic before as inbuilt mics usually do not record quality sound. Yet, I cannot use this inbuilt one as I need to do some professional (kinda) voice recording with a little bit of bass for some videos. That is the only reason for buying one like this. Unfortunately, after doing all these tests there is no option now to return the product. Dear Seller, Can you replace it?

When I get the device I firstly I checked it through Open Camera App un-intationaly then it was ok. An it was wow feeling. But after some time I again checked it through the Android in built camera app then it was not working. I was shoked, then I process for replacement. Then my wife showed me the MANUAL ...omg it was mentioned that it will worked with Open Camera App and may not with in built camera app then i cheked, and I found that it was ok nice and clear and I even checked with my Computer and it was fine. So I cancel the return. mic quality is good Noise cancellation is also ok. Thanks Amazon...

I've been using the Boya By-M1 but i think Maono Au-100 can be a good competitor . It is very easy to use , you just have to plug into your laptop & smartphone or either your dslr to record sound . Talking about the sound quality then i would rate it 4/5 , the sound is crisp and clear & without any background noise !! It has a good quality wind filter as well to reduce background noise . I think this can be a good microphone in this budget to record your videos without any problem . This microphone has a perfect noice cancellation and also usefull to make videos... Here are some of the reasons that you should really buy this microphone ! 1. Best under the budget as they're providing you 2 cell batteries , 2 mic lapel clip !! 2. The quality of the sound as is more than average to record videos under a running Fan !! 3. The packaging & built quality of the mic is really high made . 4. You also get a 3.5 mm to 6.5 mm audio adapter in the box. 5. The best thing i liked about this microphone is that you dont have to order any other item if you lost one i.e your mic battery , lapel clip or even the wind filter. They're sold at very high prices in the market & you have to search the model number of the battery particularly & then you dont find it so it's a good advantage to get two of them in the box . The length of the wire is very long so if you're doing any long shoots in a very large room then you're gonna love this microphone.
