Amazing TW Earbuds for Under $100 with Great Sound
Audio quality is really good for the price, or any price for that matter. Comparable or better than earbuds that cost almost double the price or more. Sound is very detailed, clean, and balanced. Soundstage is definitely on the better side of tw earbuds. Not the best but very good especially for the price. Bass isn’t overpowering and nothing is really pushed forward so music sounds as the artist intended the music to sound. Maybe not the best for dance and workout songs because of this but everything, overall, is a pleasure to listen to. Passive noise isolation is again on the better side. Really no need for any active noise cancellation once music has been turned up a bit unless you fly a lot or work as a train conductor or something. Wished there was a transparency mode because of the noise isolation but can’t really complain for the price. Maybe for the next generation or through a firmware update. The company is releasing an app for the earbuds by the end of this year. Beta version should come out within this week. Equalizer and future firmware update(s). Could be a game changer depending on how well the app functions. IPX7 rating is legit. Have showered with them on a few times and they still work perfectly. Earbud will sound muffled if water gets directly on nozzle but a quick removal of tip and wipe will get rid of water afterwards. Battery life is also pretty legit. Never used them for 10 hours straight but I’ve also never dipped below 50% on either earbud at any one time. Earbuds are pretty loud so they’re usually on a pretty low volume setting unless I’m taking the metro. Helps with the already great battery life. Quick charge gives you 2 hours for 15 minutes in case. Pretty good. Not the best. I charge the case about once a week(every 4-5 days). Case is very nice. Fabric look gives it a nice, clean, and sophisticated look and build quality feels very good and solid. Nice snap to the case for those that are into those sort of things. Indicator lights are very useful. Does not support wireless charging but not really a fan and it doesn’t really matter for me especially since I only charge them once a week. Takes about 2 hours to charge the case completely. I had some connection issues and whatnot with the one I ordered from Amazon and after messaging the company a bit, they sent another pair to me, express 2-day overseas shipping and free of charge. Definitely going to be on the lookout if they drop their next generation set of tw earbud and a very satisfied customer. Overall, very happy with my purchase and I would definitely still consider buying them if they were $130. Maybe even $200 if they offered transparency mode or some other features. The audio quality is that good. The only thing that bothers me is that the Bluetooth connection isn’t the best. Bluetooth 5.0 but has a fairly short range especially with a wall or two. I always keep my phone on me so it’s not really an issue but just a side note. The earbuds sometimes cuts out or stutters randomly a bit but this rarely happens and could be fixed through a firmware update. Just really weird and a bit disappointing when it happens. Case is also a bit uncomfortable in jean pocket. Doable but definitely preferable in a jacket pocket. The product comes with three sizes of silicone ear tips and a set of foam “flexi-fit” ear tips. The silicone ear tips are of high quality even though they may not look like it. Fit is very important so try them all. Found the medium ear tips to fit the best but they dug into the side of my ear canals sometimes when I shifted them or moved around. Problem solved after a bit of getting used to and replacing with medium size spin-fit cp360 ear tips. Foam could be the way to go but I don’t like how they have to be replaced every few months. Earbuds are now very comfortable even after hours of use. Don’t really give you that clogged feeling and earbuds are nice and snug. Controls are nice and simple and they include volume control which is always nice. Works well and taps don’t have to be extremely quick. Button is easy to press but the pinch-and-press method is still good. I actually prefer button control over touch as I can’t accidentally control my earbuds if I want to adjust them in my ear. The earbuds are of a simple and generic/classic design. Plastic is nice and smooth and earbuds are solid. Could do with a bit more grip for a more premium feel and for cold weather but that’s a small thing. Earbuds are symmetrical so you can use them on either ears which is useful when in mono mode. Just remember to check which is which side for control purposes. Can change how controls are set up once app is launched. Another note is that you can pause YouTube but can rarely ever press play afterwards. Not a huge deal as I don’t have YouTube premium so I’m on my phone already. Sometimes happens to Spotify but it seems to be more of an app problem as I can’t play from my phone quick menu either. Have to go back into app to reload and continue. For a relatively unknown company, it’s shocking but pleasant to see that they were able to deliver such a quality set of tw earbuds especially on their first attrmpt. If you don’t particularly care for the more advanced tech on the market such as anc, transparency mode, wireless charging, auto-pause, etc., these earbuds are definitely the ones for you. A huge steal at under $100. Definitely worth giving a try and can make a nice gift if you already own a quality set of tw earbuds. Good quality set of reliable tw earbuds with some of the best sound available on the market. Don’t ever have to worry about water or battery and pairing is simple and fairly stable. It can’t pair with multiple devices at the same time but I just pair it with my phone. Might want to look elsewhere if that’s important.

1 major flaw - must use case to turn it off/on/put into pairing mode.
Pros.1.Sound is very good, it's the only reason why I bought this. Ive had many mid to midhigh-end iems, headphones, dacs amps etc, the sound of z7 is veru impressive and clear out of the box. Not a bass cannon but it delivers good frequencies, and its not sibilant which is the most important quality for me.3d sound isnt very accurate nor very wide, but it's good enough for music. Sound wise, Im very happy, and it is better than any other bluetooth earphones that I've tried in the past. It is still in the breaking in phase, and it seems to get better with each use. LDX does make the sound appear wider with stronger base, but I will need more experience with this. Im not sure if its just a slight tweak in sound or it is like a virtual amp mode, but once its on, you cannot use eq.2.3. Case feels nice but I dont know how well it will hold up to time/stains etc.Cons1. The Reason why I'm writing this rant, bc it is SUPER annoying that it compelled me to write this review. This thing doesnt have power off/on/pairing mode on the earphone itself, You MUST insert the earphone into the case and close it to turn it off. I couldnt figure out how to get it to pairing mode once it was already connected and paired to a device, so for a while I had to manually unpair from bluetooth settings on my phone or yank out the bluetooth adapter on my other devices. I had to contact customer service to get an answer bc I couldnt find the information anywhere! You'd think they'd include a quick guide about this in the little manual it comes with or somewhere on the website, but I couldnt find it.-You can only get it into pairing mode once it is turned off, meaning it is inside the case with the cover closed. Open the cover, take one out and it will automatically turn on. Quickly! you must click TWICE and it will get into pairing mode. Once I had gotten this answer from customer service, I decided to bump up the review score from 3 to 4.2. Eq works well, has a 7 band instead of the usual 5. However I notice that slight changes to few bands in the middle doesnt stick, as in Ill do -1 to 3k, it goes back to 0, if I do -2 it will go to -13. There is this idle whizzing/slight humming sound when nothing is playing. First time experiencing this on a bluetooth earphone. It come and goes, not sure what is it, it doesn't bother me too much but I just notice it from time to time.As for bluetooth earphones, Im coming from jabra elite 65t, tranya t3, aftershockz aeropex mini, and all of them only required a long press on the button to turn off/on/go into pairing mode. This z7? Once I had it connected to a device, I couldnt figure out how to get it into pairing mode for a different device, which caused me a headache. If you lose the case or it breaks, not only will you lose the charging functionality, you wont be able to turn it off/on/get it into pairing mode unless you manually unpair it from your device's bluetooth settings.Overall -Sound is 5/5, happy with the sound. Aptx works well. Voices are crystal clear.Functionality is 3.5/5.Ambient sound/hear-through mode - I'd give it a 3/5. It works, that's all.Seriously though, they should have included a quick line explaining how to get it into pairing mode somewhere in the little few pages worth of 'pamphlet' that comes with the box.edit: to put it into pairing mode - take out any 1 of the earphone from its case, and quickly proceed to click TWICE. Light will blink rapidly between white and pink/red color when it's in pairing mode. If you don't do it correctly, it might automatically connect to a previously paired device, then you'll have to start all over from the start
