What type of tripod is recommended with this product?

New Wave just came out with the u.go Tripod LCS1. This is what they recommend using for their Pochade Boxes. It also works well with other Pochade Boxes.

what is the panel Capacity? can it go longer than 24in horizontal ?

This is for plein air. While the horizontal length is not limited, the weight is. It will be connected to a tripod. So the answer is yes it can and no you shouldn’t.

What are the dimensions of the palette space (interior)?

I have the medium size one and the palette that it comes with measures 10.25" x 6.25". The sides of the pochade box due take off a bit of usable space, so its more like 10" x 6".

I would absolutely use this for watercolor. A watercolor block or paper will easily work and a small travel palette placed on the side tray.
