BedRug Tailgate Mat | Fits 2015 - 2026 Ford F-150 | Charcoal Grey, BMQ15TG

Okay fellas, if you are just an everyday truck owner who is not going to use your truck for construction or heavy loading, and just want a tailgate cover that looks great, and is easy on the knees when getting in and out, look no further. This bedrug tailgate cover is fantastic and was a snap to install. The included industrial Velcro type tapes hold strong! Make sure you clean prep the gate with rubbing alcohol and the included 3M sponge. Pre lay out the location of each Velcro tab and pre position the cover prior to the actual placement. The idea is to get it on one shot! Easy peasy. Looks good and I’m very happy with the purchase.

Perfect fit on my 2024 Raptor R. This is a great product specially if you are loading things you don’t want to scratch, if you like to shoot from the bed of your truck or if you have kids that jumps on the bed of the truck like it’s a bounce house. I also bought the bed gate cover. It’s awesome. When installing my advice is stick the Velcro to the bedrug first, dont peal it. Use alcohol to clean the surface where the double sided tape from the Velcro will stick on the truck bed. The little packet to help adhesion is small so gentle use only where the double sided tape will go. No need for more than what they give you. People here were complaining but honestly it’s fine. Use common sense and you will be ok. Once it dries for 30secs or so folds it up one side towards you and start pealing the double sided tape from the Velcro on one side. Put it down and use your fist to tap back and forth to help the tape grip the bed you your truck, specially if you have a spray on bed like I do. Repeat on the other side and you are good to go. If you buy the Tailgate cover - this one fits in between the grooves kind of the corners of the tailgate have a flatter surface so it’s fine. Regardless use the process mentioned above for the larger bedrug. Make sure you tap with your fist well on the horizontal edge too and bottom since the Velcro will sit sometimes between gaps. All and all rock solid and highly recommended.

I bought this tailgate rug mat in October/November 2016 for my new F150 truck. It has been excellent in every way. It is comfortable on my 67 year old knees when climbing up, it holds things in place when working off the tailgate, cleans up well when wet or fishing, protects the tailgate paint, provides traction when standing, and looks great! It stays in place with velcro, although I bought extra full length velcro strips, and since this is leased truck, the pad is fully removable. This is a great feature for my truck. The photos above are from October 2019, 3 years after purchase, and this quality mat is as good as new!

I have been scouring the internet for a new/different tailgate mat and this one is top notch. I previously had a stock ridged plastic tailgate cover. It was perfectly fine for its purpose, but was not easy on my middle aged knees. I'm not old, but I'm also not young either and the padding on this tailgate mat works wonders for my knees. Makes it just that much easier getting in and out. Plus now I don't dread hopping up on the tailgate now. Highly recommend this product. The only thing that I'd say about this mat is that I wouldn't recommend cooking with any semblance of high heat directly on it. The "carpet" does seem durable, but not durable enough to combat temps of a grill or anything.

These are so easy to install, a Caveman can do it. This is awesome protection for your tailgate if you slide tools and stuff across your tailgate. Every truck should have one. The only caveat; you’re gonna want to have some sort of tonneau cover on your bed or these will get quick, wet and nasty over time. Just an FYI for ya. Get one for your tailgate if you can relate to what I just said.

I got this to protect the tailgate of my new 21 f-150 with work surface/tailgate step package. There is a 2-4 inch area of unprotected, painted area exposed all the way around the work surface on the tailgate when you get this package. Ford definitely cut costs instead of covering the full tailgate. Even worse, there is no plastic tailgate drop-in liner available for this package from Ford or anyone and I know the exposed uncovered area would get dented/scratched/etc. This rug has solved this problem completely. It took about 10 minutes to line up and install. Make sure to leave it flat on the floor with some weight on it to flatten it out overnight and make sure to properly clean the surface. Instant protection for the entire tailgate, and since it is velcro it can be removed to clean or if I ever wanted to use the work surface and easily put back on in seconds. It also uses standard velcro tape that can be picked up at any hardware store if any was lost or falls off.
