Good well designed product
Good quality and very useful product Hand faucet and water tab with jali used to clog , due to small particle from tank and rust flakes from GI tank pipe Now it will be blocked before entering main supply line in house

Never buy this not recommend for water tanks.
Dont be fooled with the videos on youtube. I have bought three filters of this and fitted on my tanks. It get blocked every 2-3days and i have to open and clean them everytime although im using it for municipal water pump. The filter system blocks water flow if not cleaned and can damage your water pump. No proper response from elegant casa team when i tried to buy some rubber sealants. I would not recommend this product at all, it looks like a testing product which fails badly.

Elegant Casa 1 inch Inlet Water Tank Filter
The item arrived on time and was well packaged. I received a help video from the makers (Made in India) even before receiving the item. They were very helpful and answered all my doubts before I bought the filter. I wish all sellers were as good. This filter has partially solved my problem of getting muddy water in my tank during the monsoon. I would have liked a finer filter but could not buy it as my pump pressure would have damaged it. This one does the job as a lot of the TSD are removed. Fairly easy to fit. I used a plumber and it took him just 1 hour. Price is a bit on the high side. So far, I am happy with the purchase.

Inefficient and requires a lot of maintenance
Since this filter is out in the sun, it accumulates fungus moss, and it literally blocks the whole filter. When the water pump pushes water, it gets filtered. However, when the pump stops, there is water remaining in the filter. Since the filter is out in the sun, fungus builds up over the steel filter and eventually blocks the water from being filtered. My water pump got affected due to the extra pressure of the fungus in this filter and eventually got spoilt. I had to pay 5k to get the pump repaired.

Where can I get the plastic housing only?
I’m using this filter since 2020. Working excellent. But now the filter housing got cracked and leaking water. I don’t know where to find the plastic housing or replacement of it.
