This produces plenty of O3. Had an odor in my car that I couldn't find. Put this in the car for an hour and the odor is gone. Please heed the warning. O3 displaces O2 and is dangerous to living organisms; this is how it works. Do NOT use around pets. Even kills bacteria and virus and mold and fungus. These things are great. I'll be treating the house next. These are Chinese like most things these days. So don't expect it to last forever. For the price it is a bargain. There are US made units that are similar, but are priced around $700 to $800. If you are a commercial company and use it a lot, you would be better served to get the more expensive units. For intermittent household use, this is fine.

I have three dogs and a cat, which means that no matter how hard I try to keep my house clean pet dander and smell can tend to linger. In addition, I have a 200-gallon fish tank which can also produce smell. It has been an ongoing battle to keep the house smelling fresh. Packaging: The product comes neatly packaged in a solid box where everything arrived in tact. Usage: The product works incredibly well, I was impressed with the efficiency of the product, I was able to leave the Ozone generator in the room for only a short period of time and opened the windows and it was a fresh clean smell. Things to Note: DO NOT allow pets or people in the room while the generator is on, the reason is because it is unhealthy for your respiratory system. People with Asthma are more prone to issues. As long as you follow the instructions there will be no issues. Overall, I am extremely happy with the product and I was able to have a fresh smelling house for my husband’s birthday party. You wouldn’t have even known that there were pets in the house because it smelled fresh! Thank you for the great product!

Got this to remove the stink from a newly purchased piece of Ethan Allen furniture. Didn't notice the cigarette smell in the thrift store due to the double Covid masks that I was wearing. Have done a few treatments on this piece and it's 90% better. I already have it in the office with some stuff on it, but I bet I could get all of the stink out of it quickly if I built a tent in the backyard and put this unit in it overnight. This thing reaaaaaaaly pumps it out, so I'm not comfortable having it on for long stints in a room that's not totally airtight. Yes, this is a good purchase.

I worked for an ozone equipment manufacturer, back in the mid-90's so I know ozone equipment. This is a quality machine for the money, and I am glad I purchased it. There are several ways to produce ozone. For high output of ozone, the best is by corona discharge. You are already familiar with corona discharge. It is what happens in the atmosphere during a lightening storm, which produces that sweet, unique odor you smell outdoors right after the storm. This machine utilizes two corona discharge plates in parallel and its output is substantial. I do not have means of measuring the output, but based on similar rated equipment I have experienced, I would expect its output rating to be accurate. The timer can go all the way to two-hours, or be set for continuous run, but I do not recommend setting it for that, unless you have a full-face N95 respirator to wear when going in to turn it off, or some other way to isolate power without entering the room. Ozone is nothing more than a molecule of oxygen with three oxygen atoms (O3) vs. a regular oxygen molecule having just two (O2). However, that extra oxygen atom makes it very unstable and very oxidizing, which is what allows ozone to kill viruses, bacteria, and remove odors. It is also very irritating to your respiratory system and mucous membranes (e.g. eyes, nose, mouth, throat), and too much exposure can be harmful to both humans and animals (so do not leave pets in a building where ozone is being used, and don't forget to turn off your fish tank pump while using ozone). However, once the machine shuts off, ozone dissipates rapidly rendering a room safe to enter a couple hours after its use. If you still smell ozone upon returning, simply open a window or two and it will clear fast. Having a humidity meter is also helpful as the dryer the air, the more effective the machine will be. Running your AC will lower room humidity, but remember...before running the machine you need to shut off your AC or at least block the cold-air return vent within the room you are treating. Otherwise your AC system will circulate ozone throughout the house. Even better and safer for all concerned, turn on the AC, set the machine's timer, remove the kids and pets (and yes...even the mother-in-law) and leave for a few hours. My only negative observation would be the lack of an intake filter on this unit. A high-flow air filter on the intake would prevent dust particles from entering the unit, and attaching to the fan blade or building up on the discharge plates, extending the life of the unit. However, at this price, I can forgive this minor oversight.

Had never heard about these until a tiktok follower suggested it for a car I bought that had an awful cigarette smoke smell. It basically got rid of the smell immediately and have used it on every other vehicle I have because might as well. Has run for a few hours and no issues so far. Just be smart about where you use it and take precautions. Would definitely recommend.

It's much smaller than I expected. I am a smoker and also I do not leave the house without our German Shepherd, so my car stinks like smoke and dog. I did not clean my car and I put this in there for 20 minutes, keep in mind my wife will not ride in my car as she is a nonsmoker and she thinks it smells horrible in there. She was amazed that it got rid of the smoke and dog smell all at once, she was stunned. The car smells great after one treatment. I could never figure out how auto detailers get the smell out of your car, now I know. Highly recommend this unit!
