A very happy customer!
This grooming arm is exactly what i needed to help gently keep my cat in place for her least enjoyed weekly activity, the brush out. LoL (she's can get a little resistant and squirmy after the first 5 min)This is an essential item for anyone tasked with regular grooming of a less than thrilled dog or cat. It really helps keep them in place and minimizes wrestling, which, in turn, keeps the time spent on the chore of regular grooming to a minimum. An appreciated plus for all involved! It's very similar to the ones we used years ago when i was a groomer. If you've got a large dog i might suggest a stronger one. But this one is perfect for a cat or small to medium sized dog. I don't have a grooming table. Yet. But i made a few quick alterations to an old small microwave stand (basically a small, sturdy table) i had on hand, to which it clamps securely and works perfectly in the meantime. To be very honest, I wasn't very surely what to expect. I was a little suspicious wondering why the price was so much lower than others I looked at. But i decided to go for it. I'm glad i did. Cuz it turns out, I was just lucky and stumbled on a really great deal!

Good value
It is a good value for the price. I don't like that the clamp is plastic. It is ok for my small dog, but don't know if the clamp would hold up to a big heavy or unruly dog. Clamp doesn't expand enough to clamp on my counter, but works on my table. So I will keep it.

Love this
I attached it to the old school classroom desk and it's perfect for my 12 lb dog. He hates getting pretty so he is super wiggly when I try to clean him up. This arm holds him up and he takes it very seriously, so when I put him on the little table and attach this leash, he stands like a big boy and doesn't act out at all. I even keep it pretty lose but it's like he understands it's business when we use this arm :)

Groom your pets like a professional!
This item is great if you're like me and groom your dogs at home. We have older dogs so they have anxiety issues with going to the groomer. I used to have problems getting our girls to stay standing but not anymore! I can give them a hygiene cuts quickly and clip their claws with ease now. The price is reasonable for this and it's easy to set up and use.

Needs instructions for assembly and use!
I just added this arm onto my table, which already had an arm. I needed a second arm to keep my dog from moving her head and turning while I am trying to trim her. I haven’t used it yet, but here are some things to note:1. The clamp for the table is plastic. It’s thick and seems sturdy, but it’s not steel like the one that came with my table. If you have a big, strong dog who hates being groomed, you might look elsewhere.2. The clip on the end of the strap is different than pictured. There are no instructions in the box, so it took me a bit to figure out how it clamps onto the arm. See photo. It will work.3. The strap configuration is different than my other one. I still haven’t figured out how to put it around my dog’s neck. Again, instructions would have been nice.4. Good news! The arm is very tall, much taller than the other one that I have. This is great if you have a tall dog like mine. See photos.

It is what it is
Ok groomers, consider this. This was the cheapest arm on Amazon. Yes, the clamp is plastic. Yes, it has a weight limit. I wouldn't use it for dogs more than 30 lbs. That being said, I groomed my neighbors Yorkie the day this arrived and already made back the money I spent on it. If you're looking to groom larger dogs, you'll have to get a more expensive set up.

Broke instantly
I was really disappointed when I set this up, attached my dog who put no stress against it, turned around to grab the dryer, and turned back to see the bar was no longer extended as the 3 tack welds that was holding the arm up broke. This is ridiculous. It should be able to take a little stress from a dog, that’s why they are used, and yet this couldn’t take any stress before it broke. I do NOT recommend this to anyone.

Relatively Good
I like this product but be aware that the clamp will not spread for a thick table and in fact it will wobble when clamped on something "clampable". I had to use a towel between the table top and the upper clamp in order to make it more steady and not wobble.
