Can this cut cement board?

The Tungsten Carbide blades are for cutting sheetrock, MDF, plaster, plywood, fiberglass, Hardi fiber-cement board, & similar materials and are installed in the hole cutter when you get it.

The HSS blades (in the upper right hand corner of the carry case) are for cutting wood, melamine, acrylic sheet, soft acoustic tile and most plastics.

Both types of blades are replaceable.

CLEANING TIPS FOR HOLE PRO DUST SHIELDS

1)  To clean the inside of the shield use a damp cloth and NO WATER near the center bearing race, or they will cease up

*** CLEANING WITH WATER CAN CAUSE THE BALL BEARING RACE TO FREEZE AND MAKE THE DUST SHIELD UNUSABLE***

2)  To clean the yellow gasket, leave it in the shield and take a damp sponge with a little dish soap and wipe away any residue picked up from the ceilings and then wipe the gasket dry.

Is the xl arbor adapter included with this set?

The X-230+ has 5/8"-18 threaded shaft end for attaching a 1-1/4" deep carbide grit hole saw and providing dust and cut depth control.Using a hole saw deeper than 1-1/4" with the X-230+ shield would use the XL-Arbor Adapter,  HP1168.

Question 4

Is this tool capable of cutting a nice clean hole through 3/4 inch furniture grade plywood. the edges  need to be pretty clean, not all chewed up.

Thanks for your help everyone. I need to cut a CLEAN 8-9 inch hole in 3/4 in  13 ply baltic birch. Since there are no hole saws that big this looks like the tool I need. Dear seller, thanks for the tip about the HSS blades!
