Great product
Excellent product, great flavor and a little goes along way. It is cut to a easily used size for soups and pretty much any dish you'd like to add it to.

Get Your Greens In, Y'all
Love the flavor. The cut wakame is the perfect size for miso soup. I was worried that the hydrated seaweed would be slimy, but the texture is great. Thick enough to have a bite to it (think thicker than spinach in a soup, but not by a large amount). The health benefits and nutrients are just a bonus. I get my greens in while having great tasting food - can't ask for more than that!My recipe is:8g miso powder w/dashi (or 18g/1TBSP miso paste w/dashi)200g water (or 240g/1C if using miso past)1.5g cut wakameoptional: 1.2g gochugaru for a little spiceoptional: diced/sliced white/yellow onion or green onionoptional: 35g tofu (or more)To a mug or small bowl of just-boiled water, add all the dry ingredients and let sit for 2-3 minutes (if adding paste, let all ingredients except paste sit for a couple minutes, then stir in paste. Reheat if necessary). You can also add everything to a pot and cook quickly on the stove. Just be sure not to boil the miso paste, as this kills nutrients, if you care about that. It's a great breakfast side-dish, and is also great for a savory snack.

Clean, not overly salty, easy to use for many dishes & drinks.
Best value for WAKAME seaweeds. This 16 ounces of dried Wakame seaweed will last a long time. To be able to measure the correct amount of Wakame I consume daily, I use my KRUPS ELECTRIC COFFEE GRINDER to reduce the dried Wakame flakes to an almost powder form to add to foods and drinks. I add a 1/4 teaspoon of ground Wakame to two scrambled eggs for my breakfast meals. I sprinkle a small amount to miso soup and several other dishes for more umami flavour. This large will last me a long time. This is my second package of Wakame from the same brand, Shirakiku.

great value
A bag lasts a long time for home use. These kelp is a bit heavier and chewier than some I have tried. I happen to like it, but some may find this too chewier.

A little goes a long way
A small pinch is all thatโs needed to make a couple of cups of soup. Very tender and tasty when put in dashi broth. Iโve added ramen toppings in soup to give more bulk for a satisfying soup.
