Hoping for the Best!
It is great to see that there is a specific pest control product made for my flower bed needs. Hopefully this will act to deter rabbits who ate my impatiens last year.

Repellent or Inviting Appetizer?
Frustrated by the 1-2 wild rabbits noshing away at our backyard grass lawn leaving patches of dirt/ground/soil in its wake, I did a query on Amazon Prime and settled on/ordered the 3 lbs pouch of "Nature's 'MACE' Rabbit Repellent Granular/Treats Rabbit Repellent & Deterrent." As usual, Amazon delivered expeditiously. Unfortunately, said product, in spite of the fact that I followed the directions "to the letter", did not deter the rabbits. SInce applying, two rabbits (guessing they were the same ones that plagued me prior to purchase of said product) continue to show up and munch away every evening. I would return the product to Amazon but all I have left is the empty container/bag. Am loath to apply a poison or even use a BB gun (31 years active duty US Army Corps of Engineers but....). Not sure what to do next. As an aside, I spent quite a bit of money on replacing my front lawn with artificial turf but I can not afford to do the same for the back yard. Boo hoo me but thought I'd pass along my experience with said product. Post Script: I ended up “biting the bullet” and spent $13K on replacing rabbit riddled grass lawn with all artificial turf. BOTTOM LINE: Said product did NOT deter any rabbits.

Try this before you spend any money on anything else.
I have tried everything from some of the other small animal control products that you put in the yard that really smell offensive. After about 2 or 3 days they stopped working. I also spent a lot of money on ultrasonic devices. After about three or four days the rabbits got used to it and kept showing up. I needed to find something because my little Scotty wanted to go out and play with them and it was getting to be a problem for me and also the neighbors. I figured why not try this. It worked greater than I thought. I put it out late in the afternoon before the rabbits came out that evening and the rabbits stayed away from the property. I also noticed overnight in the next morning when I went outside there were no rabbits munching on grass across the alley from me. I thought okay I'll give it about 3 or 4 days and see what happens. After a week they were still staying away and my Scotty didn't know what happened to her friends! Anyway, I'm going to keep using it and I anticipate it being just as good the third time as it was the first time. It saves my sanity from my dog barking and also leaving little rabbit presents on the driveway. I know not everybody has the same experience but I would try this before you spend a lot of money on ultrasonic detectors that the rabbits will get used to. Good job guys!

It works & doesn’t have a bad aroma.
The product works better than any other method/product I’ve used. It’s been an annual battle for many years for me. My 4 stars is due to the container that does not work as an applicator.

Not ideal for large lawn areas
This product probably works when applied locally around individual plants, but was not particularly effective when spread around the perimeter of my lawn to keep rabbits from eating (and killing) my lawn. Once they cross the "barrier," the rabbits are not bothered or repelled by the product.

First week success
I've had a pesky pair of cottontail rabbits nesting under my front yard dwarf Scotch Pine for more than a year. All attempts to get rid of them nibbling on my lawn failed, so I decided to give Nature's Mace a try at the source. I went out at midday when the rabbits weren't present and spread the granules all around the shrub and even poured some down from the top. No smell at all can be detected standing outside the application; even smelling the open bag gives only a mild mint odor. One week has passed and the two rabbits have not been sighted once. So far so good; will see how long it lasts.
