Because it costs you Rs 1000 extra for a 2-4 % increase in power... 1. Better to buy a-data, xpg, crucial, Kingston those are also gaming category RAMs and cheaper... 2. This is having a sticker with no heat sink but it is a very thin polythene. 3. Just branding is special nothing is special about this RAM 4. All RAMs are highly costly so as it is and all other. Note: RAM is a very costly memory so it always performs like missile buy is as cheaper as possible. The main reason I buy it as I have Asus ROG gl503ge (i7-8750H)and for the purpose of the video editing and modelling.

Bought this for Asus ROG Strix Scar III working fine. No need configure anything in Bios. Very Good for the price.

Bought it during Republic day sale (15 jan 2023) for Rs. 1652/-. Prima facie it looks good. installed in lenovo 330s previously having 4gb 2400 mhz, now it is 4+8 2666mhz = 12gb. speed has increased and during multi tasking system is not hanging. easy to install and can be done on its own. I will update the review after using it foe some time as of now 22 jan 2024 it is working good. PS : if u are planning to buy ssd also then first try with ram only. speed of my laptop has increased significantly.

Using it on tuf fx 505 with i7 8th gen and 1050ti spects laptop it works fine

RECOMMANDATION : Quand on voit la gourmandise de Windows 10 et aussi d'un navigateur tel que Chrome, 16 Go devient un minimum. Si mes jeux tournaient avec 8 Go de RAM, c'était tout de même très limite avec parfois une saturation à 100%. En gros, vous n'avez que 8 Go sur votre ordinateur portable ? Ne vous posez pas de question, rajoutez 8 Go supplémentaire. Si vous pouvez mettre plus, allez-y aussi. INSTALLATION Installé sur mon pc portable Legion Y540 qui n'avait que 8 Go RAM au départ. J'ai installé cette barrette de RAM de 8 Go dans le deuxième emplacement disponible. Sur un Legion, installation facile. Aucune vis cachée ou à embout spécial pour accéder à la RAM. Une fois le dos dévissé puis déclipsé, il faudra juste enlever le boitier métallique recouvrant l'emplacement de la RAM puis le remettre une fois la barrette installée. Tout fonctionnement parfaitement, les 8 Go supplémentaires sont bien reconnus. Donc s'équiper d'un tournevis, mais aussi d'un pick de guitare ou tout autre truc en plastique pouvant vous aider à déclipser le dos et le boitier métallique. CONSEIL POUR L'ACHAT Le prix de la barrette de RAM de 8 Go a tendance à souvent fluctuer. J'ai saisi l'occasion quand il a chuté à 32 euros après 3 semaines d'observation. Oui, je suis quelqu'un de patient ^^
