This might be the worst tea I’ve ever had in my life. If there’s one thing I know for sure about this product is that it doesn’t contain real saffron, which is misleading because the packaging lists the origins of saffron and has images that would imply there is saffron in the tea but the ingredients (which are not visible prior to purchase) call it “saffron flavour.” Anyway. It doesn’t even taste like saffron! It tastes like really poor quality black tea with a hint of Rooibos (which I despise) and a sprinkling of dirt. It’s seriously horrible. I made a cup and dumped it out. I’ve never had tea this bad.

This is just black tea and saffron flavoring. Not a thread of saffron or even any extract. At first you are just hit with black tea taste, then on the backend a deeper, almost woody taste. I've tasted TONS of tea blends and by far this is not the worst tea I have ever had, however, without actual saffron it's just an interesting cup of tea to experience. I'm glad I tried the taste of saffron tea at this price point instead of the $16+ boxes! Not sorry I tried this but this will be my only box of this flavor.

The saffron flavor in this tea is pungent and artificial tasting. It’s reminiscent of stale old lady perfume and only has slight hint of actual saffron. I personally like SaharKhiz saffron black tea, but it’s hard to find after the pandemic.

It was no where near the taste, flavor or aroma of saffron.

A little different from what I normally drink, but the taste is still good.
