Had this for a while now, still working in good condition. Gives accurate readings too

It was delivered earlier than expected. I use candy thermometers a lot, and they end up with the mercury separating, so I make it a point to have several on hand as a backup. The item is as described. I like it, especially the on/off button. Switching from F to C is easy. At one point, the window had condensation. I felt it was inferior, acting as an impetus to write a one-star review to NOT BUY, but now, it is gone. Maybe because of leaving it on the windowsill and the sunlight. In any event, I'm now whole.

This is fine for this value, but it does take a good bit of time for it to get a read-out. Know that you'll have to wait about twenty seconds before you get a result. Otherwise, it seems fine. It's helped me in the kitchen.

I got this because I am always trying to make candy, my problem is I still can't seem to make it wirh the recipies and the internet and not get a burnt taste nor soft/sticky hard candy. Not the thermometer's fault. I test my chicken with it tol for proper internal temp to be safe.

Honestly you get what you pay for, esthetically pleasing but very slow to read. Takes a a while to read temp but it does work. I’ve made it work by placing it into my sourdough loaf while scoring the next. By the time I’m done scoring the read will be done.

It does not show the real time temperature. Hou have to wait few second till the degrees goes up and never stops. You really cant read nay barbeque temperature. Will not recommend at all.

This is a very nice thermometer. Easy to use and accurate.
