Very, very happy with them! Unbelievable quality for the price - many said that in their reviews and yet I still didn't expect them to be this nice. All the way from the packaging to the extras and especially the glasses themselves. I've been stuck on wearing Serengeti's for 20 years and I'm not saying the lens quality is the same, but then they didn't cost a hundred bucks either. In fact with my Serengeti Drivers I can never tell that the lenses are photochromic, they always seem the same shade and can not be worn at night. The color change on these Motelan's is quite dramatic making them wearable at all times. I wish they got a tad darker in bright sun/snow, but if the trade off is I can wear them in stores and when it gets darker out, I'll take it.Edit 5/15/18: I just changed my star rating from 5 to 4 because... they cracked and far too easily. I was pulling my full-face motorcycle helmet on while wearing the glasses as I have for decades when one side caught on the helmet pulling the temple under my ear making the classes sit cattywompus on my face. Didn't seem like a big deal, I put them on correctly and went about my ride. When I got back and took the glasses off I found a 1/2 inch crack in the lens just above eyesight.Prior to this incident, I did notice I had to re-bend one the temples and re-adjust the nose piece as both had sightly bent. So while I still must admit I was impress to get photochromic glasses this nice for such a bargain price, they are a bit flimsy - I sent them back.

Arrived with scratched lens and looked aged, like it was a return. I am returning for an exchange. The transition does appear to function in sunlight as advertised tho. Will update as necessary.Update:The replacement went flawless, they actually shipped the replacement the same day I reported the issue. The new one for some reason seems a little smaller and fit my face better, and the arms didn’t bow as much and rests on my nose with more comfort.The transition feature does work well and gives the right amount of tint for the condition but since “right amount of tint” is relative, for perspective, at darkest tint, your eyes will be visible from about 6ft away but not further. If you like your sunglasses super dark then these are not for you. I find the night driving native yellow tint offers zero benefit so I drive without them. These are ideal for daytime activity when you’re outdoors and indoors frequently.

7/7/19 these could be great for work safety glasses. I start work when the sun is still out & finish about 2-4 am. Should use safety glasses but hate to bring 2 glasses. Dark & clear. Looks like these could work. Trying them tonight. Metal nose is good so I can adjust them. Just hate it when glasses bottom rub against face. I'll update after use.1st update - wore them at about 5 pm under sunlight in Detroit area and it hardly changed color/tint :( I was in direct sunlight & then shade and back for about 30 minutes and glasses hardly changed color/tint. The photochromic doesn't change inside the car - the windshields are uv protective. So much for driving sunglasses. Decrease to 3 stars.2nd update. It does get darker if exposed longer under the sun and strong noon sunlight. Change is quicker than I had thought.It was good at night time driving. Decreases headlight glare. Stylish.

I don’t drive nearly as often as I used to, but needed to put a few hours in over the weekend as part of our group road trip. I was concerned about the sun and corresponding glare on the highway, so I decided to buy a pair of polarized sunglasses in advance of the drive, which definitely came in handy as it was quite sunny that day. Here are some thoughts on the sunglasses:• Style/fit: The sunglasses are very lightweight and comfortable on the ears given the rubber tips. I’m not a huge fan of the frame, though of course this doesn’t detract from its effectiveness.• Effectiveness: Most importantly, the lenses responded well to periods of intense light by effectively blocking the UV during the drive. The difference between driving with and without these sunglasses on was clearly noticeable.In summary, I am happy with the purchase and will continue to use these glasses on longer drives going forward. Note that I did not actively test this while exercising/hiking, though I do feel that these sunglasses would be effective outside of driving as well. I recommend these sunglasses for anyone who is in the market for polarized sunglasses.

I bought these glasses to use when I go out for a hike on a sunny day and I was not ready to spend loads of money on the glasses. I was lucky to find these polarized glasses. They are stylish and trendy and I use them regularly now. The nose grips are comfortable and I can wear the glasses for a long time. These glasses suits well for long drives too, especially in the morning and evenings when sun is in the direction you are driving. The cover provided for the glasses has a hook, I can hang them to my backpack I use for hiking as i dont want to wear the glasses in shade and i dont want to open my bag again and again.

I bought this sunglasses for my bf with hope that these will block the burning glare from the sun in Texas. My bf liked it but he wished they were a bit darker. These came in a pretty nice, hard case with the clothing cloth and 1 polarized test card. He has not tried to wear it under the sun yet. But I'm happy with this purchase since he looked pretty cool in this sunglasses.p/s I forced my bf to be a model ^o^
