Jyoti Natural Foods: All Natural Mung Dal with Spinach (1 x 10 oz)

This dal is great the way it is however, as the package suggests, I like to add water to make a soup. Be advised that there is not a lot of spinach. One package and a piece of fruit or some cherry tomatoes should get you through lunch easy. If I have it for supper I will add a baby can of spinach or garbanzo beans to fill it out. Packages are non-bpa. The other information on the package is enlightening as well. The company really does care about your health.

I use it with Tostitos Scoops. A small spoonful of this straight out of the package, mozzarella cheese, and chopped tomato, in the toaster oven, oven, or GT Cooker Platinum. Great for a hot summer day! So good they're addicting. Make a bunch. Let me know if you know other toppings to try. :)

This is far better than I expected, it tastes really fresh like from a restaurant. It's on the expensive side, though. Would buy again

I purchased this product locally and loved the flavors but I couldn't locate it again. I was thrilled when I saw it available on Amazon. The great thing about this product is that you can add any ingredients that you like. I have had this with only vegetables as well as chicken and turkey, rice and no rice. Slighty spicy but perfectly seasoned and makes a delicious easy meal.

Horrible. It arrived with a rip- which exposed the food content. So when I attempted to use it everything inside was green and blue and covered in mold. Threw it in the garbage.

This was a little bland but not bad. I was just hoping it would have more flavor to it. The best use I found for it was adding it to a soup, which made my soup more hearty without really affecting the flavor much. I would buy this again though, if they sold it in my local stores. I don't know if I would go through the trouble of ordering it online though.

My frustration lies with the way that the listing was written. The item description makes it appear that the item was a “Case of 6” for almost $10.In fact, the listing was for only 1 despite the description noting otherwise.
