Contigo Huron Snapseal Travel Mug

The lid of my old travel thermos was ridiculously difficult to clean, but not this Contigo! Keeps my hot drinks hot & cold drinks cold for hours on end, easy to use, easy to clean. What’s not to love?

This is my second one because I wore the first one out. I use it for my morning coffee and ice water at work. It keeps everything the temperature it should be for hours. The top seals perfectly so no spills.

Looks expensive but it's not. Good quality. Keep stuff warm or cold all day

The seal sometime bunches up but easy to fix.

I love the Contigo brand cups. Always keeps my coffee nice and hot even if I have to come back to it hours later. Spill/Leak proof if the snap seal is closed. Otherwise no. Not so crazy about that feature, I love the other design better where I have to press the side of the lid to drink. And once I release it, it’s automatically sealed so it won’t spill. However the Lid On that design is a hassle to clean but this one not so much. On a side note that has nothing to do with the cup itself-I ordered the pink but I got sent Grey! Not happy about that but didn’t feel like going through a return, so I just kept it because it is the right cup just not the right color. Overall the contigo brand is still my favorite coffee cup.

I've been using Contigo thermals for about 10 years. This month I tried a new cup that was supposed to allow you to check the temperature of the contents in your cup and it malfunction the first time I used it. I am back to my Contigo never to leave again. The only problem is if you take the rubber gasket out to clean it YOU CAN NOT GET IT BACK CORRECTLY.

It's a great travel tumbler as far as leakproof and heat retention goes. Yes, it LOSES heat more quickly in cold weather. If the ambient temp is warm, it stays hot longer. The lid fits very well.The CONS:The interior finish actually got some scratches on it.The interior finish gets and stays stained from tea. Won't come off with a sponge, not scratch scrubber, or, brush. Even using Dawn spray on foam.The SPOUT TAB is extremely difficult, to impossible, to open. I have very arthritic thumbs. Even using both together, I can not open the tab. Very hard to push up.I SOLVED that problem by buying a tiny titanium bottle opener, shaped like a question mark, that perfectly fits th e silicone lip of the spout tap. With that, u can easily open it for drinking. I attached that to the cup with a silicone hair rubber band around the handle of a silicone cup handle that I placed on the travel tumbler.The bottle opener is very small, probably too small for a big man's hand, so, I also bought an aluminum bottle opener that is larger and works well. I put the lid on with the drink opening facing the handle I added with the ooener in it, so that it will have the silicone lip next to the ooener when it's finally screwed on.As an aside, to get it to not fall over in the car, where I had it in the dashboard "pull out adjustable cup holder", where, the first time I used it . . .with the spout open and full of hot tea, it FELL over and doused my lap with hot tea when i turned the first corner . . .I cut the top half off of a foam soda can cover and putvthat ring of foam around the bottom of the travel tumbler.SO . . . Once I FIXED the problems, it's a great travel tumbler and I use it every day.
