Stainless Steel Mason Jar Milk Strainer for Dairy Goats & Sheep (Mini Strainer with 300 Filters Combo)

Just started raising goats last year and our does have given birth this spring. I've been using the coffee filter method to strain their milk since it works (albeit very slowly) and because commercial milk strainers are costly and too bulky for a home kitchen. It's been a godsend to find this milk strainer that's more suitable for our setup! It's made the process so much easier and I've literally only just received it this morning lol

Bought this for goat milk and it's great! Love it! Also works great for average kitchen use like homemade teas, veggie broths, etc!

Filter a bit tricky to get set in place but after a few runs, it gets better. Otherwise excellent!

I had to replace my old Busy Liz milk filter that I'd had for about 50 years and bought this one. It's far better than what I used to have, and I'm really happy with it. Not only that, but it uses the same size filters as my milking machine. I plan to use this filter for straining milk strippings from my does in the milking parlor, so it has a permanent place in my routine,m plus I can use it for canning as well. Great item! Thanks!

Very sharp edges like some of the other reviews. I guess that’s what I get for not paying attention to reviews before purchasing. It’s really aggravating for the price that I cut my thumb, making it harder on me to milk with a sore finger.

Perfect for the amount of milk I get. I pull around 12lbs of milk per day and this is perfect. Small filters are just the right size for this amount. Right out of the milking bucket into half gallon jars for use.

The filters that come with are very slow especially if you have high butter fat, parts are sharp suggest using washcloth to turn have cut my fingers with the bottom piece that screws on

Good quality stainless steel. Came with filters, which have been hard to find to re order. But filters the milk very well. Update to review. I have been using the strainer for the last 3 years, twice a day milking our goats. The strainer started to rust a month ago, and has no rusted all the way through the metal making it essentially useless. For the price of the strainer, I would have expected it to have lasted more than 3 years (our previous one lasted 10!) I do not recommend this product if you plan on using it daily, or at the very least do not expect the strainer to last if you.

Don’t waste your money with this product! If you are able to remove the strainer you probably won’t get it back on at all. The threads are a very poor design!
