Jan Marini Skin Research Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment Lotion 5% - 4 Oz

This stuff works great. I've tried almost everything else on the market and was using 10% benzoyl peroxide cream (no lotion) for a while. That just made me break out worse, then dried out my skin until I would have large flakes come off. Really gross, although it did get rid of the pimples. THIS stuff makes my skin smooth, soft AND acne-free. I feel like I'm in a new body. Also, it's great when your problem area is not the face. Other parts of the body become more of a nuisance to clean three times a day, while this can just be applied and then forgotten about. Since it has a lower concentration of peroxide, it's less likely to bleach clothes, too. But watch out, it is still somewhat of a bleaching agent. It only took two days to clear up my skin, too! Most acne creams take two weeks and this is almost instantly visible. You only need a small dab of it. Like a penny size drop, smoothed on the skin real thin is enough so you don't even feel it and makes the bottle last very long, which is nice since the price is a bit off-putting at first. Changed my life!

I bought this as a replacement to Kate Sommerville Antibac lotion. I was in a pinch and didn't have time to make it to Sephora before a trip so I ordered this based on other reviews and the ingredients seemed similar. I have been using for a month and so far my skin is loving it! (I should say I don't get a ton of breakouts so I really just put on my chin for small bumps.) It does not dry out my face and my skin wakes up clearer than when I went to sleep. I'd recommend!

After many acne treatments and Dr. visits and many different things, my sister told me about this lotion and the face wash, my teen who had really bad acne finally got it all cleared! Thank you! I use it as well and it works great on adult acne ! :)

Well I haven't even used it yet. But as soon as I opened it the bottle would not stop oozing the product out. At least an ounce just kept oozing and oozing. What a waste! Especially for the price of this crap. $50 for 4oz now. Thanks!

Have re-ordered this one multiple times. One of the strongest and most effective BP concentrations on the market. I also like its thicker creamy consistency, creates a good layer on the skin and stays in place, unlike runny gel-like type of treatments. Perfect for those of you that suffer from bacne, and for topical overnight treatments.

Well first of all its a good deal for the amount you get in the bottle, but the moisturizer capability is not very much. I usually where proactiv and thought this might be better, but it's not so I'm back to proactiv repairing lotion. sometimes I mix the two together if I want a more drying effect for night time.

For the most part I have always had clear skin. I broke out so bad one time and a friend suggested Jan Marini's Benzoyl Peroxide and I was amazed that my skin was 90% cleared up the next morning after using this!! Can't recommend it enough!!
