1. Package was delivered with a knife slice on it and green powder flew everywhere when I opened cardboard box. When I emailed company about it, they said they could do nothing and directed me to Amazon. SO that was a negative. HOWEVER. 2. I decided to just trust the powdered herb and keep it. It is, and I say this as a veteran of bitter herbs, the MOST bitter of all bitters and VERY difficult to take (tho I am now feeling like a champ about downing 1/4 tspn in less than 2 oz of water each morning). BUT, oh my dear, it works and I feel its positive, beneficial effects IMMEDIATELY. VERY POTENT cleaner. Highly recommended for those who mean business when it comes to healing. Still give it 5 stars despite the torn bag.... excellent medicine. Not for the faint of heart.

This product works really well for me. It helps with some of my skin issues and it definitely helps my immune system. There is just so much it does but really hard to put into words. I definitely know that I am better taking it. But it is a healthy lifestyle that benefits most from the things you do for yourself. Give this product a try. I recommend this to family friends and patients I work with. Word of caution though, it is very bitter. I find it best to be taken with water only. I am taking this along with a broad range of other anti-parasiticals. I have been struggling with parasite cleansing for four months but this plus mimosa pudica seed powder feels like the tide has turned. This is bitter but not impossible to consume and I don't think as bad as the other reviewers are making it out to be. I'm mixing it in water with neem, nopal, and bitter melon, because why not make something awful even worse? : ) Just drink it down fast or encapsulate it if you must. I would definitely order this again.

Excellent quality! Very bitter, I've had my share of ill tasting herbs but this by far is the worse. Through much trial an error the best (read least horrible way to take it) is to take 1/4 tsp powder and same or less amount of water and shape into a ball/pill. Place on back of tongue with swish of water.

I’ve been ordering this as part of the Buhner Protocol for treating Lyme Disease. The flavor is very strong and bitter, indicating to me that the herb is fairly fresh and hasn’t been sitting in a warehouse for years.
