Gets the job done! Go this to retrieve few things that fell behind an immovable desk. While a wee bit shorter than would have been ideal (31” vs. maybe a full 3 feet or 1 meter), the magnets strength overcame this, allowing me to “grab” and pull up the items. The specs say 20 pounds…I was skeptical, but while the item hardly weighed this much, the power with which it held on to the items seemed to confirm!

A very small spring popped out from under the screwdriver as I attempted to put it into position in a polymer pistol frame and fell somewhere on the floor, which was dirty and had dog hair all over it. I despaired of finding it after spending time on my knees looking for it, but then I swept the floor and dragged this magnet through the hair and sweepings, and Presto! There was the spring! This magnetic tool saved me a lot of time and grief and money. The magnet in it is strong, able to pick a large stapler and other tools, but small enough to get into tight spaces. I’m very happy with it.

Really strong! A piece of a wrench fell into a drain hole and I never thought I’d get it out, but on the first try, out it came!! Obviously I’m putting the necessary grate on that drain!

Picks up a bit more weight than advised. Just a bit too bulky to stick into pen pocket.Would use again. Removal of objects is easy.
