Not quite M12, but 11.73mm instead
I was hoping this bolt would have a diameter close to 12mm, so that I could use it as a slightly "oversized" oil pan plug that I need to patch up my stripped oil pan. But 11.73mm, that is the same size as the original drain plug, too small to do the trick for me.

Intentionally inaccurate descriptions, buy elsewhere
Don’t trust this seller, their descriptions are inaccurate and it appears intentionally so. They describe this as an M12 x 1.25 pitch bolt, what they send is intentionally missing the full pitch description and is a standard M12x1.5. Would not purchase anything from this seller/manufacturer again.
