It definitely will protect your airpod case from any minor falls, or dings. Any serious falls, and you already know your earbuds are flying in different directions. Your case may still be safe, but I can't guarantee your earbuds will be.The case comes in two separate pieces. The top is not connected with the bottom part, which may make you believe it won't stay in place...but it hasn't popped out on me once. The fit is pretty snug, like Etemon carrying his little Monzaemon plush everywhere he goes. (I cheated and google searched this fact.) The carabiner attachment is hooked on the bottom piece, which helps ensure me that if the top did come off, my airpods wouldn't be flying out like the original DigiDestined in the opening credits. Seriously, I hook this thing to the front of my jacket as I make errand runs, and my airpod case has never fallen out.I also enjoyed being able to find this case, since I searched through an endless amount of silicone cases that seemed passable, but not "THE" case. Anyone who's anyone will have an airpod case that reflects their inner self. Yeah, Pokemon is cool, but a pokeball airpod case is lame, and pokemon everywhere isn't that cute. A digivice tho...that's a statement.

only had it a few days so can't speak to long-term durability but it looks great and seems pretty sturdy for what i essentially bought as a novelty case. for those who are coming off a more typical rubbery skin type of case (think Lwsengme, which i also love), the thickness of this case will be a little jarring. this isn't something you can slip in a back pocket. be prepared either to carry this around in a bag or use the clip that comes with it. also, there's no hinge connecting the top and bottom pieces, but the pieces are very snug around the charging case, so i wouldn't worry too much about it. overall seems like a solid case and well worth the price and then some

The quality of the case is great, the detail is amazing, the only major let down is that the top and bottom parts are not attached so the top very easily falls off. I wouldn’t recommend hanging it off a backpack or belt loops as the lid cover would very easily fall off and get lost unless you tape them from the back so both pieces are connected.

The digivice case is nice but it does come apart easily and the top portion popped off easily enough so now I strictly use it as a decoration on my office desk. I would recommend for future iterations of this they connect the top and the bottom of the case together instead of making 2 separate pieces.

The media could not be loaded.  Awesome and super cute product! Lots of compliments! The only reason it’s a 4/5 is because some of the black on the Digi wording was peeled off when I got it so some of the letters/numbers were white. Very hard to tell unless your looking right at it but little sad since you want it to be perfect of course!

I love the color and the detailing of a digi device. However, was not expecting it to be a bit big but I guess it has it perk if you ever drop it, the case will protect the pod. Overall, good and recommended.

I love my DigiVice! It’s the perfect handsfree way for me to hold my AirPods, and it looks great too. My only real complaint is that sometimes the top part gets hooked on something and comes off. (I almost lost the top half in a Starbucks once, haha) Overall I’m very happy with it! I use it practically every day!

Great case especially helping to not lose your AirPods. The top case isn’t attached and I feel if pushed down too much would prevent AirPod case from fully closing. But great to have if your a Digimon fan!

Arrived on time, was a lot bulkier than expected, but annoyingly it doesn't actually close properlynow just sits with a gap between the 2 parts and looks oddA shame but probably should have been expected for such a cheap price

Seller lists that it fits AirPods 2 however I can confirm it doesn't fit for AirPods 2 AT ALL
