I placed these in my closet in my apartment in open space like on top and in between clothes. I think my dog got lethargic after a few weeks from inhalation even though they were far out of reach for him so I immediately threw them out. Make sure to place in moth bags or closed containers. Smell is a lot less stronger than regular ones. They do dissolve pretty quickly though. I still saw a moth in my bathroom even though I placed it in the closet.

These lil mothballs come individually wrapped inside little paper envelopes like tea bags. This allows the vapora to escape while keeping the balls inside the paper. I think the smell is pretty pleasant. These balls slowly evaporate as they are being used. I can't tell if they are repelling months but I hope so

We had a terrible moth infestation and this product (along with some other strategies) stopped it in its tracks. The lavender odor is strong but does NOT linger on your clothing. Now I refresh these twice a year in all my closets.

I bought this strictly because I was hoping it wouldn’t smell as bad as regular mothballs. I was very disappointed. It has a very strong offensive odor. I’m sure it works fine, but do not think it smells anything like lavender.

I felt it was very easy to place them around the house. They come in these little individual packets and I just put those out. You don’t have to take them out. Apparently.. well, don’t do what I do, read the instructions just in case you’re supposed To remove them from the little pack.
