Nostalgy From My Youth😋
Since I was born in the Hague (where hopjes are manufactured) and the company stopped making these little sweets I just had to buy this tin filled with the REAL Haagsche Hopjes. It is a little pricey, but it is well worth the $$$👍

Most Excellent Hard Candy
Wow, these are great. I was turned on to these during a walking tour in the Hague (Netherlands). This brand was listed as the only original Hopjes made in country. I am not a big sweets eater, but these are not too sweet and have an excellent coffee flavor. The hint of caramel just enhances the taste even more. The best part is they are a hard candy that does not soften or stick to your teeth. Definitely worth the price.
