Our HVAC Service Technician routinely vacuums out debris in the fan/compressor unit. He recommended we get a cover due to inordinate amount of leaves we have in that area. I asked if he had any in the truck and he said ‘Yeah, and they’re $65! Go to amazon and get the same thing for a lot less.’ So I did. Lots of good reviews, and I was pleased with what I received with regard to quality. It’s the size my HVAC guy said to get and the bungees hold it in place fine. It was a simple solution made possible with a simple installation. It works in that it keeps debris out of the ac fan/compressor unit, and finally it’s a LOT less than what the HVAC service technician will charge you for one. With regard to durability, well time will tell and I’ll update as necessary. Today is January 14th and we haven’t gotten into the season we call MISERABLE in Florida yet, so I’ll update if there’s an issue with mildew or accelerated dry rot. So far - I’m happy I bought this.

I recently noticed leaves and sticks in my one outdoor air handler/air conditioner unit and asked a repairman how much covers go for. He said they could run upwards to $200+. I decided to check out Amazon and see what options they had available. I found this product and after reading the reviews and watching some videos, I was sold on this product. It came on time and went right to work. It fit perfect and is keeping out all the tree debris in the area. It's doing its job and at a very good value. It's been on for only a short while, So I hope it lasts at least a few years. Would highly recommend protecting a few thousand dollar unit investment.

This device keeps leaves out of my condensing unit. Easy to install, but may remove it when yhe leaves stop falling.
