Husqvarna Powerbox Chainsaw Carrying Case, Chainsaw Case 100000107

This was the only hard case I could find that seemed decent. And, I’m more than happy with it. I’m using it for an Echo 16” chainsaw and it fits perfectly. I love that it’s sturdy and has enough space inside to store the bar oil and fuel cans. I always carry my saw in the back of the truck when we get bad weather and this will definitely make it much easier to load up as well as eliminate any concerns of the fuel/oil spilling. Worth every penny!

The case is good for keeping oil from leaking out into the back of your truck or trunk of your car. But this is basically just an assembled husky branded orange version of the case made in black that requires assembly found on Amazon as part number 49MACASE953. Frankly it’s worth it not to have to assemble. That said getting the saw in and out of the case isn’t very speedy so I don’t use this at all except to throw spare chains filters and oil in during the season when I’m using this particular saw. I live in a remote heavily wooded area where trees fall regularly, sometimes blocking roads so I keep this saw in this box in the trunk just in case. And it’s great for that. Negatives: * clunky to get saw in and out. So when you’re working an arborist or logging gig it’s just too much hassle to put the saw in the case. For that I much prefer my Stihl bag which I use for my 462… but my husky is a great little saw and is my “spare” or arbortist saw because it’s lighter and I’d never climb trees with the 462 LOL * the tool holding feature molded into the plastic of the case I’ve found to be worthless. Even the tools designed to fit into the molded plastic just don’t fit in some cases—for instance the field clamp for chain sharpening. So my spare quart of lube oil and 2.6 oz 2 stroke bottle and a quart of premix and extra chain and files all just rattle around loose in there. It’s good to have them in one spot but even my Stihl bag has separate compartments to organize and hold these items much better and in a way that I really find useful. Stihl makes a lot of bags the particular one I’m using now is called the sportsman I think. Also I hear the echo hard case has useful sections for tools and whatnot but whatever this box works fine for what it’s for.

Best saw case ever has room for sharpener oil and protects the chain

Bought two of these cases now to store my chainsaws and both fit decent. One chainsaw is a GreenWorks 16 inch bar 40 volt cordless brushless electric. Fits nice with plenty of room for accessories like extra chain, tools, bar oil, etc. The other saw I bought this case for is a Stihl 041 Farm Boss with a 20 inch bar. This saw just barely fits in the box area of the case. The wrap around handle touches the front and back panels while the end of the hand grip touches the left side panel. There is not a ton of space left with this saw in the case but it fits securely and is protected. Only disappointment with one of the cases is the fact that there is something rattling in the top cover when I open and close it. Don't see any physical damage on the outside but something is floating around internally. Other than that I am satisfied with the purchase and would recommend to others.

Fits Stihl MS250/MS251. Seems to as good or better quality than any other chainsaw box out there. I'm not thrilled about the plastic hinge pins, or all the compression fit joints, but my observations during this first 15 minutes of use suggest it's as good as I'm going to get. It does have ample storage room and my Stihl MS251 fits great with no pressure.

Got an old but great Stihl 038 AV Super with a 20 bar that I hated to see get kicked around my garage and get beat up. Spent hours and days searching for the original case that Stihl would offer for this when the saw was in production and with no luck. Ended up giving this a try and it worked! The case is pretty sweet and for the $ you can't beat it. Fits the saw power head with 20 bar perfectly. Enough room for 1 quart of bar oil, 6 small bottles of Stihl 2T oil, spark/bar tool, user manual and extra chain. The plastic that unit is made from is the typical china crap but strong enough to hold it self together and carry it by the handle (Stihl 038 AV Super is NOT a light saw).

This does fit a Husqvarna 350i battery powered chain saw, with some modification. The case is really solid for a $40 case. I used a utility knife to cut out a semicircle so the chain adjustment knob would fit when closing the case. I have included a photo to show how much needs to be cut out

It does exactly what it should do with paying $115 for a cooler looking case.

Awesome case. Better than the picture shows. If you take care of it, it should last you forever.

I purchased this so that I can comfortably transport my Stihl MS 271. It stacks well and the inclusion of the bar sheath makes it very practical. Besides protecting the chainsaw from external damage during transport, it also safeguards the inside of my Pajero. The added features of stowage for bar oil and two stroke oil has been well thought out. I also like the facility to store and secure commonly used chainsaw tools and ancilliary items.

Top Qualität

Great case substantially better than older models. Have been using for 5 years with no broken parts or leaks.Switched to 24 inch guard that came with my 460 Rancher and was interchangeble and fit properly. Only Con is if out in the rain a bit of water does seem to get into the hollow lid. Could drill a small drainage hole if needed but never did as it is a very minor issue.
