What is the finish like on the steel base? Does it match the finish on the cylinder?

All of the parts that are NOT leather are bright chrome. The base and the tube are both chrome. The seat is plush leather, but very small. If your A## is very small you will love the seat. For me it was too small for long term use. The height adjustment is a mat black lever. The wheels are black and white is good quality, the type that rolls well on carpet.

What is the seat height of the extra large seat stool? I see some older answers mention an upgraded version changing Heights.

The stool is easily adjustable from 19" to 28" high.
