Premium Aleppo pepper
Purchased this for various recipes that specifically call for Aleppo pepper. It's good, though I don't the difference in quality vs other brands. Package size is good for fitting into spice drawer.

Who knew that I needed this spice in my life? I stumbled across this after watching Next Level chef. I love the fact that it provides that pepper flavoring without a lot of the heat. I do love good spice but sometimes you want the flavor without the heat. It is a bit pricey but so far I have found that it is good value for the price that was charged. I have found Aleppo in other stores, even Wal-Mart. I'm not sure about the quality of those but when this one is done, I will definitely be looking at other brands for comparison.

Michael Symon recommended this. Very different from crushed red pepper. Lots more flavor with a slightly lower level of heat. This is my second jar and frankly, I don't know how I've cooked without it!! Get some!

Love this product. Good flavor. Use it for cooking, to mix in your soft butter as a spread, add to sour cream for a dip. Sprinkle on popcorn.

Good Aleppo pepper for a fair price
I have been familiar with the flavor profile of Aleppo pepper for about 1 year. I use it most when making Turkish style eggs for breakfast. I have also used it to season up things like beef stroganoff (i like a little heat in this otherwise bland dish), and in chimichurri in place of regular red pepper flakes. The jar is consistent in flavor and much more convenient than the packets that I usually walk away from middle eastern markets with, and it seems to do a pretty good job of maintaining the freshness of the product.
