Best for 5-1/2 dewalt metal / steel saw.
Iโve tested a few of these blades on dewaltโs small but powerful steel cutting saw. Iโve found these to be the best cutting and best life. Better than the one it comes with that costs more. Other cheaper off brand ones were predictably not good at all. I tried a bunch and settling this one.

I bought dewalt because it had the least amount of bad reviews and someone had commented it sharpens well
Most of the reviews I have read on stainless steel chop saw blades had less than stellar things to say about blade performance. I bought dewalt because it had the least amount of bad reviews and someone had commented it sharpens well. Out of the package I got 8 cuts from this blade cutting 1.5 in 14 gage square tubing. Took the blade to get it sharpened and the guys at Precision Sharpening told me they thought the blade could be sharpened several more times. After sharpening I have got 12 cuts out of the blade and noticed is was starting to throw sparks. I inspected the teeth and one is broken. I was going to buy another one of these blades but the price has gone up $100! How does anyone efficiently, accurately and economically cut stainless steel?

i used it for cutting handrail on two decks 16x20 and 10x10
It held up to the use and never dulled great blade so far and i had to cut a lot of spindles and handrails (top and bottom). So I am impressed it may be pricey but no burrs or jagged cuts.

So far so good..
So far so good... Made two cuts prior to a project I have coming up.... Attached it to my track saw, cut some 16g stainless... Wicked nice cuts so far.. don't want to jinx it on the project by cutting unnecessarily... Hope it lasts for a bit, great price also

good blade
This blade will cut clean and last a long time if used correctly. Don't let some idiot cut steel with it. That happen to my saw blade. A sub contractor made on cut with it on steel and chipped several teeth. Had to though the blade away. I bought another blade. Or should I say the sub bought it.

This is the BEST blade for cutting stainless
Mike is right--we have tried every other brand and the Dewalt is the best by far. Be sure to have your blade SHARPENED ($25) before it gets too dull, and you will get alot of life out of it. We fab Race Headers in 321 stainless, and usually get around 70 cuts between sharpenings. This beats the heck out of abrasive saws--just use common sense when cutting.

Worse then all other blades i've tried.
Several chipped teeth on 2nd or 3rd cut. Broken teeth, not dull. Can't even sharpen this junk. Don't want to mention other blades i've tried but usually I get at least 10-15 cuts on 304 SS 2x2 square before the blade gets DULL and i have to resharpen. Tis thing would shed teeth every cut. This blade is a waste of 180 dollars and I returned it. Worst blade i've ever bought.
