This is a lovely lightweight Hair and scalp oil. Does not make Hair greasy or weighs hair down. A little goes a long way. I have thick below shoulder length relaxed hair that is low porosity. This oil absorbs well and doesn't sit on top of my hair like some heavier oils like Coconut oil. Also it smells like Peppermint, similar to the scent if those starlight Peppermint candy. I love the smell! This oil conditions and nourishes the scalp and seals the cuticles on the hair. I really like using this hair oil, makes my hair smooth and soft. I highly recommend and will repurchase when I run out

I was looking for a light oil for my hair and this is it. It's light and not like other heavy oils. I don't like the bottle, it would be so much better if it had a spout but I can get past that. The smell is nice and it's not greasy. Overall I think it's a great light, everyday oil for dry hair.

So I want to start off by saying I love how this stuff feels on my scalp. I get scalp issues caused by chronic illness, and this oil helps to deal with dry patches--and it feels really good and tingly against my scalp without being heavy and greasy. I don't like how slick it makes my hair, which is why the one star off, but I can still happily use it on my scalp.However, when I ordered it I wasn't expecting the peppermint to be so strong--I thought it'd be just a trace scent, but this mixture very clearly has a large amount of peppermint essential oil in it.So why is that a problem?Peppermint essential oil is heavily toxic to animals, and I have two cats. The smallest trace amount ingested or absorbed through their skin will cause their organs to shut down, often leading to death.That's not saying the product is bad for it. It's just saying if you use this, please please take precautions, especially if you frequently touch your hair without thinking about it, and if your pets have a habit of getting on your pillows. Essential oils are really good at getting everywhere through transference and can sometimes be difficult to clean up, so a few pointers:1. Wear disposable gloves when you put it on your hair and scalp.2. If you can't wear gloves, wash your hands with grease-cutting dish soap immediately after--and be careful of what you touch in the meantime, because the oil will stick to that and transfer back to your hands when you touch it again (like the faucets).3. If it splashes anywhere or gets on anything, wipe it down with alcohol. Alcohol will cut the oil and break it up so it will wipe off. This includes wiping down the faucets you turned on to wash your hands.4. Sleep with your hair wrapped in a durag to minimize how much transfers and soaks into your pillowcases.5. Wash your pillowcases regularly if your pets have a tendency to sleep or walk on them.6. Be very aware of how often you touch your hair to tuck it behind your ears, out of your face, etc. and always wash your hands before handling your pets.Again, this is not meant to say the product is bad! Use it happily, use it well. Just offering a few tips for pet owners so they can use it safely without introducing their pets to toxic essential oils.

Very light weight and doesn't weigh my fine hair down. Like the smell

I have only started using Mielle Organics almond oil. It works well for my hair and scalp. My hair is very dry and feels so much better using Mielle products. I have finally found a brand that’s right for my hair. No more looking.

L ho preso sia per contrastare la.caduta che per ammorbidire un po j miei capelli, molto ricci. È strepitoso...non so per la caduta perché l ho usato solo 2 volte, ma i capelli all'istante sono più lucidi, morbidi ed i ricci perfettamente definiti. Sembra che ho fatto la permanente tanta è la.differenza! E ne basta una piccolissima quantità da massaggiare sulla cute e poi.pettinare.
