Gets the job done

These universal lens hood are great if you are missing a lenshood on your lens. It’s a universal fitment as long as you match it with the same front filter diameter. The pedal shape hood seem to be very durable, but the rubber hood is very flimsy but it’s much more compact and you can easily compress it down and store it away. It’s very simple to install. All you have to do is screw it in just like any other lens filter size I bought mine is 67mm and it fits my lens perfectly. These are great for wide angle, lens, as well as telephoto lens, and also a good value for what it is.

Very good protection

I was skeptical about these hoods given the price compared to the factory items from Nikon but I am surprised. They are quite good and for the money, very good indeed. The collapsible hood is my favorite for its versatility. They may not be a favorite for hard core professional photographers but I like them a lot for what I do.

Terrible product all around. I find the positive reviews for this product hard to believe. The adhesive on the lens cap loop is not sticky enough, and will fall off quite easily. The strap on the lens cap loop has already started to fray after barely a month. I haven't even had time to take this lens out yet. The lens hood does not allow for screw on filters for your lens, meaning I had to choose between a lens hood, or the UV filter protecting my lens front element. Naturally, I chose the UV filter. The rubber hood is also low quality, and has an odd smell to it. It doesn't support filters either, and is quite flimsy. Overall, I would advise against securing your potentially >$500 lens with this cheap product. Look elsewhere.

It didn't fit my Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens even though that takes a 77mm-thread like this set of lens hoods. Neither good fit. Both were too small. It seems like the EFS 10-22mm requires a Canon EW-83E or something its equivalent, despite the thread size officially being 77mm, so it's really not this product's fault it didn't fit. Seems like a mixup in information provided by Canon as to what size really fits on such a wide angle. I'm returning for the right item but I wanted to share my experience for others who are also using a 10-22mm lens

Got this pair for my Nikon P1000. Love the fit. Will work with filters that have threads. Will not reverse lock. Looks and fit perfect.

This is a good 72mm lens hood set. I actually only need the tulip flower hood which screws onto the top most lens filter. With the lens hook that screws on the lens barrel, it blocks the access to the filter. This hood is on top of the filter so the hood works well with filters. I don't really like the rubber hood as it was bent out of shape during shipping. But I don't need it anyway.

Good quality I lost my original to replace it was $100 AUD these will do the same job
