If you love your bike as much as we do ours, you know that cramming it into a cardboard box is near sacrilege. The Canadian company Biknd created the Jetpack case that ensures your baby arrives just as safely as if it were in the seat next to you. While the Jetpack features a similar soft-side construction as many cases, Biknd sets itself apart with an inflatable wall system. Yes, you read that correctly. The walls are heavy-duty, puncture-resistant nylon with an aluminum and plastic frame. The bike secures to the case using both the front and rear axles connecting to the aluminum frame. A locking mechanism is included so that the axles stay in place for the length of your journey. And while you may need to remove the saddle, the Jetpack fits virtually any bike. You're even able to fit your full suspension downhill bike, with wheels. Believe it or not, there is even room for your shoes, helmet, and a few accessories. Perfect for Airplane travel.

Great case
Great case! Took awhile to pack the bike in it on the first trip, but much faster after that. So far (two flights) everything has been well protected, even though a few scuff marks on the case exterior indicate it hasn't been treated gently by the baggage handlers. The case includes a nice zippered pouch with a half-dozen Allen wrenches and room for small items. There's also a pouch for shoes and room for helmet, etc.My only critical observations: the handle for dragging it through the airport is a strap and not very comfortable. Also, keep in mind that the wheels are close together so the case is rather tippy. Southwest charges $75 each way for oversized luggage, and on one occasion made me sign a waiver because it was a "soft sided" case. All that said, I would definitely recommend it.

Just took this to europe with my Road bike. fantastic! No issues with rips or tears and the air cushioning works really well. I recommend only inflating the 'doughnut' cushions to a really soft feel as the decompression during flight will nearly make them pop. Super easy to roll. This was much easier to use than the plastic cases and worth every penny. This shipped fast and was fairly easy to set up.

Best Bike Bag Out There!
This is an amazing travel bag! The protection it provides to the contents and even the wheels with rotors still on is almost as good as a hard case. It condenses down to a surprisingly small footprint for storage too. Unlike the EVOC, it opens on both sides which makes packing and unpacking so much easier. If you are a luggage locker; you only have two zippers to lock instead of 3 like the EVOC because the wheels are inside the main compartment instead of outside. And unlike the EVOC, you don't have to mess with all the Velcro and pads inside.

Great bag, and earns its keep after a couple trips
Great product! It fits my road bike, a track pump, tools, shoes, clothes, and any of the padding I'd ever want at the critical 23kg/50lbs to check it free on many airlines. I don't want to curse myself, but I buy into the logic that airlines are less likely to beat up a soft bag that doens't look stackable than they are a hard case that doesn't scream bicycle inside. I would like to dock it 1/2 a star if possible since the clear area for improvement would be four rather than two wheels, though that could add to the weight significantly. It is a little unwieldy to get around other than in straight lines on pavement, but it's not like I go for long walks with a bike bag anyways!

I initially liked the bag and thought it was a well thought out design. However on my last trip the stitching on the zipper pulled out and the zipper broke. This was only my fourth flight with the bag so I wasn't very impressed. Luckily it was on my homeward leg so I wasn't stranded with a broken bag somewhere.

Great Protection
I wanted a case to protect my bike and my carbon Zipp 404 NSW wheels. This is it! I only wished it had 4 wheels instead of two. Taking it overseas this year!
