I may have to get another one for my cats—they seem to use it more than I do. I needed a floor cushion for my morning meditation routine, since sitting directly on the floor was hard on my bottom, spine, and knees. This turned out to be the perfect solution: just enough elevation to get me off the ground without feeling bulky. I wasn’t sure about the buckwheat hulls at first and expected them to feel lumpy or uncomfortable without a foam insert, but I really like it. I can shift around and settle into it, and it molds into the perfect fit. I also appreciate the subtle flower mandala on the handle. I didn’t want an overt “Look at me! I’m all new-agey and flower-childy” design like some others I’ve seen. I looked at similar cushions for twice the price and can’t imagine any working better than this. It’s well made, attractive, and worth the price. I'd recommend getting two if you have a cat; they may not let you use yours.

Wonderful and soft material, keeps its shape, super comfortable and the color is beautiful. When I ordered I received a message from the owner thanking me for my purchase. That has become a lost quality that I’m happy this company still has. I will always go to them for my mediation needs.

This product is exactly what I was expecting. It is a beautiful, well-made cushion. It is a little firm, but I expected that. The only reason I give this 4 stars and not 5 is because it didn't help me sit any longer in meditation when I sit on the floor (such was my goal). My legs still start to go numb and fall asleep after 30 minutes, but I don't think that's the cushion's fault. I don't use this as much as I thought I would because it didn't offer any real advantages over sitting on the couch or in a chair. I can sit longer and more comfortably on both of those. If you're already able to sit comfortably for as long as you'd like to in your meditation, you might reconsider whether you really need this kind of accessory or not.

I have another one of Mindful & Modern’s cotton meditation cushions that has held up wonderfully over the last few years, but when I saw their new velvet cushions in different colors, I had to have it! This cushion is super soft, I can’t stop touching it. The fabric makes meditating for long periods of time even better and the buckwheat is definitely great for support. After a few years of using their other cotton cushion, I know this one will definitely hold up as they use high quality materials.

I purchased this cushion along with the mat. The velvet is absolutely gorgeous and so soft. This cushion was much sturdier than expected and seems to have no problem supporting me no matter how long I'm on it. I am 5'8" and 250lbs and my hips and rear are not small by any definition. I fit very comfortably on this cushion. It can support me no matter what angle my hips are in and I never feel like I am going to fall or slide off. Get the cushion, you won't regret it. I will definitely be ordering more

I love this meditation cushion! It’s pretty, it’s comfortable, it doesn’t smell weird, and it’s durable! I use it all the time and I’m glad it decided on this brand! If I had a complaint, it would be that the cushion flattens too quickly—but really all I need to do is add more buckwheat filling to it, so it’s somewhat of a non-issue. I definitely recommend this cushion, and if I had more money to spare, I’d get more cushions in all of their lovely colors!

The product description said the cushion is designed in Thailand. However it is actually made in China. The description is misleading as it doesn’t mention clearly about the manufacturing country. Why did you have to hide this information?
