Better than dongle
Works as expected. For the ports that you get with this along with coming with it's own 135W power supply, this is actually a really good deal compared to a USB C dongle along with a USB C power supply of at least 65W plus a USB C cable. You would need all of those and they would generally cost more than this alone.Granted that this is far less portable and only works with specific lenovo machines, but if you have one of those and your needs are for a fixed solution at your desk, this is a better option than the dongle route.

so far so good for my 480
I thought these were discontinued. It is a great way to expand ports on your laptop as long as it fits. And not needing the one that is loose which works great as well and has more ports. But this one makes for a great portable or desk only and to quick detach to bring the laptop to another location or to/from home/work. But I digress, It does really well for the limited smaller laptops. For anything wider than the 480 it may have some overhang to the right side. Which I don't know yet if it will effect the balance. Once I have the laptop on it I will update this review.

Great way to preserve the ports on the laptop.
Although not explicitly stated, this ThinkPad Ultra Docking Station (40AJ0135US) works well with my T14 Gen1 Type 20UE ThinkPad. All ports tested ok. A nice way to prop the laptop for adequate airflow for cooling. It's also a great way to organize your cables as all the ports are in the back. No problems using the docking station while typing.Keep in mind this type of docking station is meant for a stationary setup. It's rather cumbersome to carry this around.Docking station received in New condition (i.e. factory seal was present on box). All parts such as power supply, cables, keys and manual (booklet) are present.
