Installed this last night, kind of a big job. Got it to work, drove to work this morning, still working. Got in the car to come home and no antenna. Just a whirring motor. Pulled it apart and the nylon cable was already broken. Just spent 3 times more dough for the OEM part. Hoping for better quality.

I had issues, but Red Wolf worked to satisfy me.
This product did not match the size of the Toyota OEM product. The plastic gear strip is smaller. Part lasted about 5 or 6 days, then gear teeth started jumping on drive unit. Part is worthless for my application, 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser. The OEW part as a diameter of about 4.25 mm vs the replacement part which has a diameter of a bit over 3.5mm. In spite of the part having been installed I must acknowledge that RED WOLF gave me a full refund for my purchase. They did this after they they learned of my issue. They made the refund voluntarily, without my requesting it. I thought that this action was very responsible of RED WOLF. I would do business with them again. I would make sure that the part being bought was OEM equivalent and not just similar.

Lasted less than a week
Not difficult to install. Was very excited that I got installed within about 10 minutes. It worked great for a couple days and then stopped. Pulled it all out again and realized the gears came loose from the antenna shaft. Seems poorly constructed, no way to repair without buying a new one

2001 Land Cruiser. Installed (a pain), went up, came down, put everything back together, bought some new fender clips since these break. Hopped in the SUV to leave, no antenna movement..... Pull off lockdown cap, test antenna mast, comes out. Nylon cord has pulled out of antenna. .. whomp whomp whaaaa.
