I bought these for my cabinets on my lanai, I used to use those push and grab kind of things for the door, but over time the pushed in part changes shape and then won't lock. I also adopted few kittens (lol) and I let them get on the lanai and play, they are getting curious about what's in those cabinets. So I got these. Yes they are strong, the tape helps to hold the pieces in right spot and then I used screws to secure them. They work well and my ktties can't open those doors anymore lol.

Works great for keeping little babies out of cabinets. Was also entertaining to watch tick my husband off to install. Screws were magnetic… duh , also very small so when they fell off the drill being used they would stick to the magnet itself.

Unfortunately, this magnetic latch didn’t meet my expectations. The material feels flimsy, and the magnet is too weak to hold the door securely. Even after proper installation, it doesn’t stay closed tightly and often comes loose with a light touch. Overall, the quality isn’t great — it looks fine at first, but the performance is disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it unless the manufacturer improves the magnet strength

I purchased these to replace older type closures on a cabinet. They were easy to install and work perfectly. The magnets are strong and the plate "trick" they use is perfect, you can't miss align! Good quality , great price, I recommend
