Rising forth from the primordial sonic stew of intensive collaboration, industrial supergroup PRIMITIVE RACE stands ready to take their place as the pure evolution of Industrial Music - past, present and future. Evoking the intensity, fury and excitement of Industrial First Wave, PRIMITIVE RACE brings together an all-star cast of contributors - each of whom is a 'missing link' in the canon of industrial and EBM in their own. Conceived by bassist, impresario and Lords Of Acid manager/executive producer Chris Kniker; PRIMITIVE RACE featuring regular appearances from Graham Crabb (Pop Will Eat Itself), Erie Loch (LUXT, Blownload, Exageist), Mark Gemini Thwaite (Peter Murphy, Tricky, Gary Numan). That core is joined by an all-star cast of contributors including Tommy Victor (Prong, Ministry, Danzig), Dave "Rave" Ogilvie (Skinny Puppy, Jackalope), Kourtney Klein (Combichrist, Nitzer Ebb), Mark "3KSK" Brooks (Warlock Pinchers, Foreskin 500, Night Club), Josh Bradford (RevCo, Stayte, Simple Shelter), Diggie Diamond (Foreskin 500), and more! Steering Industrial toward what's next - PRIMITIVE RACE also enters an Industrial Battle Royale with genre heavyweight Raymond Watts (ex-KMFDM, PIG) debuts June 19 with the release of Pig vs. Primitive Race "Long In The Tooth". PRIMITIVE RACE have seen the future of Industrial Music, and decided it looks much like the thundering, soul-searing past. Viva La Evolucion!

RACE TO THE TOP!
A fantastic super group. The "industrial / goth scene" is getting watered down by these boring arpeggio abusing PG-13 bad copies from older (good) influences. So this is the band that needs to rise to top and show people what creativity is.

Fantastic & Exceeded Expectations!
I started supporting Primitive Race from the very beginning. Many people complained about the length of time it took to release material however my friends, this EP does not disappoint. Long In The Tooth is a very punchy, chaotic and sarcastic track. The synthesizers in this track really stand out as does the bass that will make your floor shake if loud listening is your style. The drums are slow and rhythmic and again, very punchy. The second track "Long Live Death" stood out for me. As many would be aware the video for "Long In The Tooth" was around for a while so in all honesty it was great to hear such a new, aggressive track. The guitar is distortion heaven with Raymond Watts' vocals screaming "vive la mort" (long live death in French) and the hard hitting drums sent a shot of nervous energy down my spine. The third track, "Come For Deutchland" has a simple drum beat but interesting overtones and layers of synthesizers. As for the various remixes on the album, it would be unfair to comment on them other than to say I do enjoy them all. The differences in construction of samples and drum beats and other additional instruments will hold different opinions. This EP definitely exceeded expectations and made me coin the term 'eargasm' for the longing and anticipation for the EP. I can't wait for the album to be released in August if the EP is to be judged on. It's great to hear Raymond Watts and his terrifyingly beautiful vocals.
