Marie Originals Itch & Rash Relief Soap for Itchy Skin, Face & Body, 2.9 oz

I was attacked by noseeums- by attack it was a sneak attack with a catastrophic side affects (Chernobyl like). Days after you get bit by these little (insert your favorite cuss word) the bites start to appear and you can see um-what they did to me. The pain, the welts and itching from these horrific bites are the worst I have ever experienced in my life! I literately want to rip my skin off or set it on fire. That would probably feel so much better and less annoying. These darn little bugs attacked the worst of areas- behind my knee, back of my neck, under my arm, the list goes on and so does this pain and itching. Nothing worked! I tried- Essential oils, herbal remedies, rubbing alcohol, calamine lotion, benedryl, ice packs, hot showers, bite relief medicine NOTHING! These bites kept getting worse. This type of bug the bites don't show up right away so I had one or two at the start but by the end of this week I am just covered. Per the Google this type of bug bite can last 2 weeks or longer. So after lots of google searching I gave up and started randomly looking for soap or acid. I finally came across this wonderful product (I can call it that now) Marie Originals Itch and Rash Soap. This product had great reviews so I decided to order. This product is amazing. I give it 10 stars, 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up, my 2nd born fur baby. Marie originals I owe you the world. You saved whatever sanity I had left. I only used it one time so far and I am instantly started seeing results and feeling relief. Some of the older iterations started drying up within an hour of using this product. It doesn't make everything go away instantly but it is still pure magic! The bar it self is small but mighty!! There are two sides to the bar of soap smooth and exfoliating. I went all in- I exfoliated the crap outa my skin because of the amount of itching and discomfort I am in. ( I didn't care what anyone said about the don't itch- yes I am worse then a two year old child. But seriously you try not to itch when you want to rip your skin off.) The soap lathers up fairly easily and I let the lather sit on my skin for a few mins before I rinsed off. On the areas that were the worst (behind my knees) I repeated the process another two times. There is little to no sent to the soap so there was no need to have to wash with anything else. The product is great and was even genital enough for more delicate areas. About an hour after using this product I could see some of the older bites on my arms drying out. The welts i have pre product were pretty horrific, but you could see after they were smaller and were starting to mellow out. Also the soap didn't dry out my skin in areas where I didn't have the bites. I do find some relief in some of the other "newer appearing" bites but they are still irritated but not to the extent of me wanting to continue to rip my skin off. This soap defiantly decreased the intensity of the itching and pain. So now it feels like a mild mosquito bite. I am going to continue to use this product until I don't see-um. This product is truly outstanding! I would recommend keeping a bar or two on hand especially if you live in a mountain home or if you are just normally a mosquito buffet. The bars are small about half the size of a normal bar of soap. I can not express in words the gratitude I have for this product being invented. I can't even rave enough about how fast and well it really does work! The photos of behind my knee were taken about 12 hours apart. Listen they are not lying when they say this bar of soap is small but hear me out. It is so very worth it. I lathers really well. I imagine if you’re using a wash cloth you would use the soap up very fast, but I use a loofah. The one you can put a bar of soap into. I find this allows the soap to lather fast, spread easier, and use less of the bar. It’s lasting me a good while. I shower 2 times a day and it’s already lasting me more than 2 weeks and counting. The soap really soothes your skin and will keep that itch at bay. I have been having the worse allergic reaction to something and I have to go through the process of avoiding antihistamine blockers while I go through allergy testing. These testings require you to go 5-7 days off the meds that keep your skin from crawling. This soap has been my saving grace. I have very sensitive skin and this doesn’t bother it in any way. I have some prescribed cream that was supposed to help the itch and by far the soap has been the only factor to aid me through this process. Btw I have hives and extremely itchy skin as a result of my allergic reaction. Don’t worry about the size of the bar if you have the 10$ to spend buy it. You’d eat that at chipotle and never think twice that that food wouldn’t last you 2 weeks. What is the calming of your skin worth to you? I’m buying more. And even though I will have answers to my skin soon I fully intend to continue using this soap. Also it has done some wonders on my face too as far as clearing it up. I don’t suffer from a ton of acne or anything like that, but I feel it helps with skin toning. All in all buy it and skip over the sizing issue others complained about..It packs a large punch. Oh yeah.… I used it in my hair too because my scalp was also itchy. A1 and I’m a loc girly. It worked there too.

This stuff works if you use it correctly. Let the lather sit on your skin. Follow the directions. I was eaten alive by insects while tromping through the woods at night searching for a dog. It was bad. Nothing touched the itch. I ordered this next day shipping and what a relief. The bar is rather small for the price. If it hadn't worked, I likely would have been angry since I spent about 9 bucks on such a tiny bar of soap. But it did work, I did get to get some sleep since I was not going nuts with the insect bite itch. As well as it worked for the insect bites, I am sure it will work well for other types of itches.

It’s a great product but is a tiny soap bar. Not much value for money.
