Read this! This is exactly what I needed. It's pretty sturdy for plastic and for everyone who previously bought or is looking to buy this. The reviews stating it's loose, do not believe them. There is a Philips head bolt and lock nut that holds the balls still. They were a little loose. Tighten them and it'll be just fine, 55 on the road and 45 on rough water with no movement! Good luck fishing everyone!

Great adjustment
The mount fit my lowrance eagle 9 perfectly. It adjust very well and was easy to mount. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with hardware. The material feels very durable and has quite thick plastic.

Product holds up on rough seas.
I have a Lowrance Elite FS 9 chart plotter and gps display. My 1998 hewescraft has a very tight helm but the Scotty mount worked perfectly and it held up in 3-4 foot seas with a 7.1 foot tide swing. Nice job guys and this saved me from spending over $160 for a Lowrance mount.
