REDCAMP 5 Gallon/18.5L Portable Water Container with Spigot, White

I needed this water jug to replace an old jug that bit the dust on our last camping trip. It really needed to be the perfect size to fit into specific spot in our camper. This water jug is perfectly perfect in all ways. I did a lot of measuring and figuring and checking before I chose this one. It's four gallons, so I can manage, carry water in it without dislocating my shoulder, and it holds enough water for a full day of meal prep and cleanup. It stows and fits exactly in the sink when traveling so it doesn't slide and crash. When it's set up for use dispensing the water, it leaves plenty of room in the sink below it for filling pans or washing things. It doesn't leak or drip from the tap (the old one sure as heck did), and I can adjust the flow with the vented cap on top so when I need a faster stream to fill a dishpan, I can do that, and when I need a slower stream to fill a teeny espresso maker, I can do that too. This is worth every penny of the price for it's utility and suitability to our specific needs. I looked at dozens of camping jugs, and this one was the clear winner. Also, the plastic it's made from is the hard food grade type, so we will have to be careful not to accidently bash it against something and crack it, but is is one of the few plastics out there that don't leach microplastics into the environment, and then into us. Another plus.

It's been a year since I've bought this product. I've been mostly using it to store spring water I brought home to be dispensed at a later time. So far I've had it leaked three times over the year but mostly due to over filling or after cleaning and not having the rubber gasket set properly. Over all this product is very durable and reliable and easy to clean. Currently I need a new jug that would fit in my fridge without rearranging my shelves and at the time of purchasing this product, this was the only available design. I'm happy to see that they are selling different designs with different capacity. I've just placed an order for the flat white 13L version and I hope this purchase will be just as good and reliable as my first purchase. Will definitely gonna recommend REDCAMP to friends and family if they're looking for a good portable water dispenser.

We are not using this for drinking water, it's in a ATOv(automatic top off) system for our saltwater aquarium. It is perfect! We ran the electrical cord and the tube through the small cap, drilled a hole. The large cap is very wide, and easy to pour water into without having to use a funnel, and no spilling water on the floor. I am going to order another one for our other fisk tank.

I bought two of these six months ago and use them weekly for an event. They get put in a vehicle, filled up at a spring, unloaded full, set up at a table during and event, then packed up, emptied, rinse and repeat the next week. So far they have performed well. No leaks, easy to fill, mostly sturdy, although the tiny air valve vent cap is poorly designed and broke almost instantly on one these- it's a very small push on plastic piece. I would have liked to see this as a screw on. The container comes with two of these air vents, so clearly they know that you will love/break them. These are a huge improvement over the standard 5 gallon water dispenser jugs, as they are easier to transport without tipping due to the shape. i like having the handles on both sides, but don't think it's a necessity. The spigot is sturdy and hasn't leaked on either of them.

This is jug is just the right size for camping. Handy turn knob to adjust the water flow. No leaks. Customer service very good. Will definitely recommend this item.

This is one of those moments when you finally give in and pay the extra $$ for the product that is finally going to actually get the job done. I have purchased so many cheaper, smaller water jugs that were poorly designed and/or cracked after one use. If I had just bought this jug from the get-go, I would have actually saved myself not only money but hassle! This jug is sturdy. This jug has a little air vent so the water continues to keep coming out smoothly. This jug has a large opening making filling easy. This jug has a large dial for pouring water and it comes with an additional spout if you’re filling water bottles and want to reduce the potential of a spill. 10/10 across the board. My only critiques are superficial: it’s not the most beautiful jug and it’s pushing the limits of what I can comfortably carry (it’s nearly 5 gallons), but for the increased functionality it’s worth it (and I needed to get stronger anyway!) Stop shopping, this is the water jug you’re looking for.

I love this little 4 gallon jug for my camp wash water. Much easier to handle than the big 7 gallon "blue jug". I was pleasantly surprised how nice this valve style is to use versus others. The body plastic on this jug isn't as thick as the "blue jugs", but a little thicker than those 2.5gal jugs of drinking water in the grocery store. I expect it to last many trips. I put my jug in a milk crate to protect it in the bed of the truck when I'm going to be on rough roads, and to use the crate as a stand for it when a tree stump or tailgate isn't available at camp. I'm happy that when it is stood up for valve use, it has a small but stable footprint, too. Not bulky at all. The big cap is a bonus. It allows for better interior cleaning, and for filling it up with liquids and even with ice. When traveling, I take the valve assembly of and put on its smaller flat cap, and place the valve in the jug for protection and so I don't lose it. The little accordion hose that pops onto the valve spout is also a nice touch and comes with. And it also comes with a spare gasket for the big cap

I used this for the first time over the weekend and it leaked all over. The spout worked fine but where you screw it to the jug it leaks very bad, I’m not sure why because there is a rubber seal in it. I would not buy this!

This is a bit pricey but the form and function is good. The valve works well and doesn't feel cheap. The size is manageable

This is exactly what I am looking for. However I used it for my garden. Perfectly matches what I intend to use it for.

Good size and very good quality container, easy to use and no licks

The 18L size was perfect for car caping! When filled up, lasted 1 day for two of us for drinking, cooking, little bit of washing up etc. Anything larger and it would be too heavy and unwieldy. Originally thought it was leaking from the larger hole but turns out I just didn't tighten it enough. Love the style of the spigot (easy to control flow and seems sturdy). Easy to wash (took a long time to find a water container with a hole large enough to put my hand in and do a proper wash and airs out really fast); no odour/taste. Make sure to wash it really well (ie. take out the rubber seals in the lids etc) to ensure you get all the little bits of plastic out. I soaked the parts in vinegar/water mix, then thoroughly washed and rinsed.

Très bon récipient pour camping, valve sans fuite, parfait pour remplir vos réservoirs de roulotte dans des campings sans services. Un peut dispendieux par contre.
