Worked out just great, the video card in my computer cannot upgrade to run the sound over the HDMI anymore so I use this from the speaker out on the computer to run sound to the TV. Took a little bit to figure out where to plug them in, on my tv I had to plug them into "HDMI" sound plugs rather than the normal sound and video inputs. Worked great after I figured that out. The wife now has great sound through the tv and the ability to control the sound via the remote handy as she is on bedrest and not allowed to get up and cannot reach the old computer sound system.

This cord works as it is supposed to and did not have any shorts in it. Just so anyone interested wants to understand how this cord works it will take the output sound from a regular 3.5-millimeter jack which is common for small headphone jacks found on most smart cellphones and then separate the output sound from that jack to the input for left and right speakers to something like a surround sound stereo system. The previous description is how I used this cord for my new TCL 43" 4k smart TV, the TV only had a 3.5-millimeter jack for output options to surround sound and this cord was perfect for the job!

Used the product as input to a phonograph amplifier. It worked perfectly as far as I can tell. It is a simple standard product very easy to make. The only figure of merit besides a solid construction is whether it transmits the electrical signal from the source (turntable) to the amplifier without appreciable resistance. Other more expensive products use gold plating to lower that resistance, but to no noticeable advantage. A gold plating might also resist corrosion better, but really, I have accumulated so many plugs in my long life without gold and without any discernible corrosion that I easily chose this version.

The product was a very cheap price. I used it for hooking up my phone into a sound system. The sound is great. The quality seems good too. So it works well.

So Greatful to find this product on Amazon. I searched the stores and bought a few and none of them would work. Once it came in the mail and I hooked it up the music started playing for our player piano and it was the only cord that would work and it was the length we needed-6ft. Awesome great quality product that worked when all the other $12-$40 cords would not.

I ordered this cord on the off chance it would work for my purpose. I have a TV in my bedroom that the sound is pretty finicky on. I use a roku SE in that room that has an HDMI input and regular old fashion video out with red and white sound outputs. I wanted to completely bypass my TV's sound by using this cord directly from my roku to my stereo system while also using HDMI direct to my TV for the picture quality. I wasn't sure it would let me use both but it works like a charm. This cord came quickly and was exactly as described. It's longer than standard 3 feet but not too long. It's just perfect and I couldn't be happier.
