GREAT COSTUME! I had a Summerween party and this costume was PERFECT. I've spent ALOT more money for much cheaper made costumes before. I was REAL surprised at the quality of the material. It is durable with a slight stretch to it making the fit just right. I like the fact that you can pull the string on the side to shorten it if you want or if you are older like myself and want it a more conservative length you can make it longer as well. The tights came with it and were not super thin. I can actually wear them with this costume again. The boot covers are GREAT. No need to purchase boots for this costume. All in all, this set was the perfect value for your money. I'd def recommend this costume to anyone that wants to be poison ivy.

I usually sew/assemble my own costumes because I think store bought costume kits are overpriced for the quality, but this Halloween I just didn't have the time, so I bought this based on other reviews and I have to say I am very impressed, especially for the price (about $35). I've bought costumes before for twice the price that look nothing like the picture on the package, are poorly sewn to the point of being unwearable, and are made of materials that are uncomfortable and seem like they'll fall apart the first time you wear it. Not the case with this costume. It is almost exactly as pictured, with the exception that the tights are a transparent beige, as other commenters have noted. All of the seams are sewn very well and the materials are comfortable and of decent quality. I had to tug the boot covers pretty hard to get them over my boots (size 8), but I was never concerned that they were going to tear and they fit perfectly. The garments are designed to fit the proportions of a normal human being, unlike other ones I've purchased that look like they were made with a vaguely humanoid alien in mind. I'm a size 8 dress, 5'6", and weigh 139 lbs. and ordered a medium, which fits very well. The dress hugs all of my curves in a very flattering way, with the exception that the top of the back is slightly loose, probably due to the fact that my chest is slightly small in proportion to the rest of my body. Other commenters mentioned that the dress is very short, but for my proportions, it's not any shorter than pictured. The main complaint seems to be the mask, and I can see why. It fits over my eyes correctly, but it's made of a pretty stiff rubber that digs into my eyelids. However, I found that if I just wear the mask over my glasses it fixes this problem and looks fine. If you're lucky enough to have perfect vision, I would recommend buying a cheap pair of sunglasses or reading glasses at the drugstore, popping out the lenses, and wearing the mask over them. I think the costume works great as is, but if I had the time I might have glued on some extra fake ivy to jazz it up a little. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase, and am looking forward to being a hot redheaded villainess on Halloween :)

FITTING THIS: i read all the reviews and photos. I am 5’7” and around 125 pounds but I have a wide build hips and shoulder wise. I also have a bit of a tummy pooch from loosing 200 pounds. I ordered a MEDIUM. It was loose but ok. It was NOT too short and the side let’s you choose how much “scrunch” you want to have which this pulls it shorter. I then ordered a SMALL. The small was shorter even without the “scrunch” (again 5’7” 125 pounds) and it was not tight tight but flattering. I could probably go XS but I think the smaller you go the SHORTER it gets. I liked the small and returned the medium because the dress fit better. The gloves didn’t fit differently. About that next GLOVES FIT: medium vs small I had no noticeable difference in how the gloves fit in size SMALL vs MEDIUM. it fit and was a little loose even on both. Having once been 300 pounds I suspect those heavier in weight with thicker arms would have issues because these gloves are clearly a “one size fits all” which is a big negative I think and a disservice to its customers ordering larger sizes and not being accommodating. But for medium and small they fit and we’re LOOSE BUT FIT The TIGHTS are tacky. I ordered ivy thigh highs elsewhere that looked realistic. I cannot tell about the fit. I imagine it is also a “one size fits all” situation which is never accurate for people over size Small or Medium. Another negative for me (fits me sure but I do not like size inclusions) QUALITY The top is help up by a flimsy string of ribbon with ivy leaves on it. It is poorly widely placed into the armpits. It add no supports so you need a halter bra or strapless. This is essentially a tube top dress with ZERO support for the “ladies” so prepare for that. It IS HOWEVER very flattering for the ladies! The skirt tie on is super cute and was what sold me in this costume. It is awesome and sheer and is fun to play with. The whole costume is this oil slick green sheen internet light so it’s not cartoony. The mask is ok. I bought mine on another site people make them by hand and got one molded for my face. The ivy on the dress is well placed and seems secure. The gloves ivy needs gluing down to stay in place. The BOOTY COVER is cheap but can be cute is you work is right I think. I’m seeing fake ivy on my shoes personally. Overall paying around $50 or so for this costume is a good value for a decisive shopper and cosplayer. And great for Halloween you’ll win contests. You can make this as a base and add a detail or two and suddenly it’s your own version of ANY poison ivy outfit style and it’s fantastic. Alluring and cute and wear some metallic green booty shorts and you’re set!! Order a size up if you want longer. Same size for good but short coverage. Size down (if petite) if you want SKIN TIGHT and booty showing costume.

I am 5’9-5’10, about 192lbs for reference and I ordered the large. I wear a size 38-40DD. (Lost weight so I’m not sure). The fit for me was perfect, as I did not want it baggy! Value for money was spot on! Those adult costumes at the Halloween stores easily run upwards of $50!!! I was pleased with the overall look!

The costume was overall perfect. I loved the way it looked on me, and the extra pieces that came with it, however I wish they made it for taller women. It fit my body nicely in tightness, but not necessarily in height, but going up a size would've been too big. The issue with the sizing was that the part where there is ruching showed the top part of my panty hoes. I am 5'8" and weigh around 125 lbs. I got mine in an XS. The boot covers were sort of tricky to apply, and even with heels (as opposed to clunky boots) I couldn't manage to get them completely over my heels, so I had to improvise. Also, for anyone other than very fair skinned women, the tights are a tacky joke. The vine on them are also painted on. I improvised with flesh colored (for dark WOC) pantyhose. The eye mask was cheap looking and rather small, but I never planned on wearing it because I had intricate eye makeup and I glued leaves to my face. I also purchased the wig online from amazon for a pretty good price https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K72JFK2/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2 . The dress also has this beautiful gold effect that you can only notice in person, that the pictures do not really pick up on. Also, be careful with the train (that ties around the waist). The finger loops pop easily. YOU DEF. NEED A TOP QUALITY STRAPLESS BRA OR DOUBLE SIDED TAPE TO LIFT THE LADIES!.

So happy I found this costume! It is so flattering and gorgeous. I love that you can adjust the length of the dress. I was worried that the tights wouldn't fit but they did! A tiny bit snug around the waist but it's doable. The mask is a little ill fitting but I can make it work. I think this was definitely worth the money! (I'm wearing a green sheer crop top underneath to cover my upper arms, that is not included with the costume) UPDATE: I still like the costume but as I was putting the costume on, both of the straps completely ripped off of the costume. The straps are literally just a ribbon and they are frayed at the bottom. Now I have to sew them both back on. I'm thankful it happened at home and not at the party I'm going. Pretty disappointed by that!

Two thumbs up!! Great costume, hit of the party! I'm 5'7" about 185lbs and the XL fit me perfectly! The only problem was the tights that came with it were way to small, perhaps for a thinner, shorter person, they would fit. I improvised with a pair of flesh colored fishnets & wrapped plastic posion ivy vines around my legs, which eventually fell to the top of the boot covers after all that dancing! Vines purchased on Amazon, also used to wrap around the top of head to make a crown. The dress fit short but not too short, for my own comfort I wore some metallic green shorts, also from Amazon, underneath, wasn't willing to show my underwear., the dress rides up often so had to pull it down often, so I highly recommend some type of shorts. The gloves fit fine, the boot/ leg covers fit better with heels, just my opinion. With the right wig and makeup, this costume was the hit of the party!

Package came intact with all accessories as described. I ordered a medium. I am 5' 7" & 150lbs. I wear a 36DD bra and pants on average are a size 10. Word of caution, is VERY short. I had to frequently pull the back down to make sure my rear end wasn't showing because it feels like it starts riding up as you're walking. I personally prefer solid black leggings underneath, but to each their own. No problems putting on or taking off costume. Shoe covers fit nicely over my heeled boots as well as all of my other heeled shoes (I had to test all of them to see what looked best). The tip of your shoes will show and if you have taller boots, the tops of your boots will show (as mine did) but this wasn't an issue for me. Strap for mask could have been tighter but I just tried a knot at the back so it stayed in place better. I didn't like that the mask went all the way around the eye since the original look was just the brows, so I cut off the whole bottom half of the mask and it still functioned just as well as it did with the bottom. The picture posted was just a try on picture, not the picture of the night when I dressed up. I was able to do the 2 pointy buns on top of my head (I have shoulder length hair that is already dyed red) by using an old "velceo" like hair roller and some Bobby pins. I sectioned out my hair, put the hair roller where I wanted it to be, and then wrapped two sections of hair around each roller (so 2 sections for the two buns, then split each section in half again...hope that makes sense!). The Bobby pins kept it in very nicely along with hair spray. It looked PERFECT!!!! I went to the dollar store (where everything is $1) and purchased the hair rollers there (they come in a pack of 4). I had to run to the store while in my full, finished costume and while I was out, I received a LOT of compliments.

I was afraid buying costume online as the sizing was not specify, I am asian and worried costume will be big for me, but it fits perfectly! I am 5’2” in height and 54kg weight, i bought medium size and this is US8-10. Dress is so good quality as well as the wings, stretchable and adjustable shortness of dress. The dress is with leaves( little itchy but its already expected) I just dont like quality of gloves as its sliding down on me, maybe i supposed to be size small for gloves, but for the boots cover is okay… the stockings is so sensitive, need to handle with care so much as it can have tangles on the stockings, kinda tight but did the job.. the mask is silicone material , fits me but uncomfortable… overall i am happy with the quality. A little delayed on delivery but worth the wait!

A bit on the small side and quite short. It comes with a sheer sarong so if you aren't comfortable with the length you can play with the sarong to hide it a bit. The leaves at the neck are a bit itchy. The tights are a decent quality and didn't t run. They fit quite generously. The boot covers are a bit hard to get on over heels but look great once they are on and stay up on your legs. Overall pretty good costume and I got lots of compliments.
