Nexsey Neck Tape Refill

I love this tape it is totally worth a small rash after. Just clean the area with alcohol first and let dry. Pull hair up and place. I usually use two pieces and overlap. It is better than any of the others I have tried.

Wanted to love this, but it was very difficult to place just right, and once in place found it very uncomfortable, I mean it is tape pulling your skin, so I didn’t think it would feel good, but honestly couldn’t stand it, and it irritated my skin. Might work for others, but not me.

SO I lost weight pretty rapidly a few years ago. Is that what made my neck suddenly resemble Nana's? Or perhaps it was all that stupid sunbathing I did in my late teens and 20s. And while I'm not vain (oh that's such a lie!) there ARE things I simply cannot and will not tolerate. - One of them is ... bumpy wheels on shopping carts. I DON'T DO THOSE! NO! NO!! NO!!! NO!!!! NO!!!!! NO!!!!!! NO!!!!!!! - I'll test drive 87 of them if I have to but I WILL NOT DRIVE A THUMPER!!! - Another thing I refuse to live with? Showing my "real" neck in public! Unless the public consists of blind people. After a bit of practice, I mastered the art of application and thus, was born, my newfound (albeit temporary) self-esteem! Here's how I use it: I put my hair in a bun and then use a headband BACKWARDS. Yes, I said backwards. This is the best way I know of to ensure each and every tiny hair on the nape of my neck, is scooped out of the way. Those cloth hairbands for washing my face just don't secure the shorter hairs well enough. I use a hard plastic headband. I place it on the back of my neck and firmly push it up against my head just a little way, so as not to loosen the smaller hairs. Then, I clip it securely to the back of my head with a small claw hair clip .. and just never you mind that I look like a freak with hair styling dyslexia. I then gently apply 70% rubbing alcohol to my neck and let it dry for a full 60 to 90 seconds of my very precious time. Inside that minute or so, I carefully remove the backing from an already predetermined length of the tape that I've carefully cut from the roll, with the FABULOUS pair of scissors that come in each and every box! I then stand in front of the mirror and slowly lift my head and apply the right end of the tape to the right side of the back of my neck. I press down the end and hold it for a few seconds and say very kind words to it like: "You're so cute! If you stay put, I will love you forever and I'll redo my Will so that YOU inherit my 18" strand of 8mm Mikimoto Grace Kelly pearls from the "Blue Lagoon" limited edition collection." (You already know I'm a liar from the "I'm not vain" comment, but the tape, DOESN'T know. - So, shhhhhh! Say nothing!) While holding the right side of the tape with my right thumb, I carefully take the left end of the tape with my left hand and use the middle finger of my right hand, to grab a chunk of Nana's neck, simultaneously pulling the tape to the left side of Nana's neck and securing it firmly and then pressing it down for a few seconds, so as to look less like Nana. ( I loved my Nana! And I've missed her since she left this world 20+ years ago! - But that doesn't mean I want to see her in my mirror!)

It works but it’s hard to apply and not very comfortable.

Hard to put on

Difficult to put on by oneself. Came loose with sweating.

Worked well -I used eyelash glue another review suggested & it worked. Stayed on 20 hours - removed with soap & warm shower

This tape sticks and stays. I clean the skin on my neck with Isopropyl Alcohol first, pull up my hair so no stranglers will get caught in the tape. I was really surprised at how secure the tape is. I found a Neck Lifting Band that I had purchased from Cosemesearch facelift tapes and attached a little piece of tape to each end by poking a hole in the tape. Works like a darn! I have longer hair so it covers the tape nicely. I think if you have hair long enough to cover the neck area the tape won't show. I am definitely purchasing this tape again. Thank you!!!!
