I use these boxes to store sheet music and some large magazines. I bought the first three maybe 10 years ago. The size was what I needed, the simple design, color, and texture suits the room, since they are in the open. I have just bought two more, as I need to store more music. Very pleased with the quality.

Large elegant storage box. Perfect for documents

Office was recently remodeled with all desks as "hotel" spaces. No drawers, minimal storage in hopes of going truly paperless. As the bookkeeper 2 days a week, I needed something to store gadgets during my off days. This is the perfect size, shape, and color. When I am not there I put my file folder stand on top so folks can drop off work for next visit. The desk has plenty of space for visitor to park temporarily. Meets all my goals and so far seems to be good value. I would not put anything heavy on it. The files I mentioned are light weight and don't cause any sag of the top surface. Something heavier might.

The box is well made, appears sturdy. I have purchased two of them and will probably buy more. Pricey but compared to other similar ones it looks like a good deal. Seller is fast, I hade to return the second one and it was replaced immediately.

I purchased three of these boxes to store historic newspapers . They are the perfect for size for folded in half newspapers which had been placed in plastic sleeves. The boxes stack nicely in my cabinet would be extremely useful in many other ways. I like the linen look of the covering and love the sturdiness. I highly recommend these boxes and would definitely buy again.

I use these for storing paper. So I have them stacked on top of each other with reams of paper inside. They hold up well and look good, too.

I got this box precisely because of its larger than 11"x17" dimensions, specifically paintings at that size in illustration board. I searched for over a year trying to find a reasonably priced alternative, but failed miserably - this was the only one. I say reasonably priced because while it is a nice box, its certainly not worth $35 Cdn. The box arrived damaged (it was not in a box itself, just a thin plastic (non bubble pack) envelope, and had taken a dinge on the outside that pressed into the inside of the box by 1/4".) Okay, I can deal with that, I just need its sturdiness and its ability to contain an 11"x17" painting. However, it can't do that. The actual dimensions of the interior of the box are 16.5"x11.75". The LID on the box is over 11"x17", but that means nothing if you can't put things INSIDE it. Why bother listing this as larger than 11"x17" if it can't contain them? Now I'm going to have to use it for something else, its not even worth returning really, IMHO. If you need to store 11"x17" things, forget it...
