Best choice I could of made does everything much quicker and saves me money

I did lot's of research after my last oven died. This fits the bill perfectly and at a great price. Looks good.Can take a standard size dinner plate with room to spare. Power is more than enough. It's easy to use and clean. Eco function is great with display going off after 30 seconds and comes back on instantly you open the door or touch a control. Importantly it's not too big and sits on top of our freezer easily. Highly recommended.

It has no fan like my old one which is a downside. It means the door should be left open after use to dry out. Eco mode means I no longer have to flick it off at the plug. the display and light go out on their own when its not used or the door is open. You can turn eco mode off.The 2 bottom buttons are so dark Its hard to read them. They should be illuminated. The controls could be simpler. I think you would sell more if older people could use it without referring to instructions. For example grilling and microwaving at the same time is not as simple as you would think. I like the 30 second increment button but sometimes 30 seconds is to long.I gave up with defrost it didn't seem to do much. A frozen fish pie was still frozen after a few minutes.You have to press cancel for eco mode to come on or for it to reset or it will just sit at the last setting for hours. For example of it starts over cooking and I open the door before the timer has stopped it just holds the setting.These reviews are for all models so when I asked a question the answers were very muddled. My model is the basic Toshiba 900w 23L Microwave Oven with 1050w Crispy Grill.I did call customer service who answered quickly and helped with my questions.It does not slide about and is smaller then expected but still takes a large plate. It seems to take a while to heat up food like a minute before it even starts to warm but then it bubbles very quickly.I am happy with it and am going to keep it, I think I have had it 2 weeks now. It is only used to reheat food really.

I've never had much luck with microwaves. A Korean (D who?) model died after 3 months, and the replacement, made by that guy Russell that sits on a hob, looked fantastic but started making noises when left on about a year in... almost like a forced ECO mode so you had to keep turning it off. It died recently.Enter the Toshiba then that is a black, sleek and powerful thing that combines digital with dials and a memory turntable so you can heat up a mug of hot chocolate and never worry where the mug handle will be, when the turntable stops turning.The controls aren't too straightforward and you may need to arm yourself with some reading glasses if you aren't a spring chicken using this in studio quality lighting.It looks and feels like a quality product though and makes all the clunky microwave noises when opening/closing the door that will send you right back to the nineties. Functionality wins with this one over style, which might be a good thing if that translates to longevity.

I got this on black Friday for round £80 and very pleased with it .Its more powerful than my last so took a few goes to get use to this . The grill function is handy and soes great cheese on toast . As a microwave , it a nice size will take a large dinner plate with room and though it might sound like a gimmick the return function is actually great ( put a cup/mug/jug in with the handle facing you and it ends with the handle facing you ) .I use it reg and it doesn't take up that much space . The fact it will grill , combi grill and microwave is a bonus . I'm very happy with it

Unlike some reviews, I found this microwave really easy to use, certainly for the simple tasks. Does require you to have a good memory for the settings of more in-depth tasks, or refer to manual each time...but who does that.Initial set up is a doddle and so far the microwave has been faultless.The feature that returns the plate to the start position is a great idea but is only required when times that are not multiples of 30 seconds are used.Overall, very happy with itMy previous Panasonic had more features as it had a grill and oven but was awful to use even on basic settings and you couldn't see the display or the printing on the buttons. Sometimes it is best toKISS.Keep It Simple Stupid.

I got this microwave to replace my faulty one.It came well packaged and protected with polystyreneInitial impressions are good. It’s much better and larger than the basic one I had before.I especially like the power saving eco mode which turns off the display light where the microwave is idle. goes out and let’s face it as every little savings helps given the current energy crisis!This microwave actually is also a convection oven although I haven’t used that application yet as I prefer my air fryer. You also get a metal tripod to use on the convection settingIt comes with an in depth booklet which I have glanced but not really gone through in it’s entirety but it pretty much tells you everything you need to know about operating itSome of the functions I wanted to utilise were a bit difficult to implement as I’m not the type of persons where instructions are easily taken on board. But herein ready I’ll just take my time and reads properly. Rather than scanning the instructionsI’m overall happy with it and think it’s well priced.
