No it does not contain grit but if your only feeding your chickens feed then they don’t need grit

How long does it last?

Depends - how many birds are you feeding? I have one chicken that shows up daily - don't know where she came from or lives, she just shows up to eat. Plus the doves seem to like this stuff as well. Lasts me about a month but I also feed other stuff (wild bird feed/milo/scraps) & not this exclusively.

This food has the right protein and isn't medicated.
