This is my second time to purchase the 65 piece variety pack and both times I have been very happy with the quality and variety of veneers. I have used them for several thin veneer inlay projects and love having an assortment of colors and grain patterns to select from. I also purchased the 40 piece labeled pack and it was interesting to have a nameto go with the different types of wood. I'm happy with both purchases. If you need a variety of veneer pieces for inlay or marquetry or other woodworking projects, you can't go wrong with this item! When I need more veneer, this will be my go-to supplier.

Beautiful veneer pieces! There are a wide variety of woods represented in the collection I ordered. They arrived packaged well and all in one piece. As described in the listing, these are very thin and NOT backed with adhesive or paper backing, which means they can crack easily. However, not a single sheet was damaged when it arrived. I made the phone case pictured and it turned out beautifully after I figured out which settings to use on my laser cutter. Since there is a variety of wood species the settings for one aren't exactly the same for all of them. I recommend a very small test cut on each piece or you risk wasting the entire piece. I am thrilled with the entire package and can't wait to create more with these gorgeous wood sheets.

Took me a while to build up confidence to use these, but it has been a game changer as soon as I did! Love the quality of the wood- the color, textures, and thickness are perfect for crafting with my Cricut. Less pressure and more passes make it successful. I do reenforce the veneer with a layer of cardstock in between 2 pieces of veneer because while they are thin enough to cut with the Cricut I don't want to risk them breaking. I'm sure to waste several sheets as I learn to use them, but at this price for the amount and the quality I'm excited to have a great option for wood that is affordable.

The majority of the veneers were fine. Some of the veneers are as wavy as a washboard. I'm not sure how to flatten them. In their current form I cannot use them. I suspect the wavyness of the veneers is due to the thinness of the veneers (0.5mm).

Exactly what I was needing. Only small downside is 95% has two each except for nicer exotic woods.

It's my first time using veneer, I was debating on buying these for a long time, I finally did and I'm impressed. They all arrived perfectly flat, no warping, and almost all the exact same thickness and size. The variety of colors and species was lackluster they were almost all the same color but I'm not complaining since it saves me time trying to stain everything to compliment each other in projects. They are so easy to cut with just scissors and sand pretty well. They are very delicate depending on the direction of the grain so pay attention when cutting and sanding. I used them in my laser engraver and they engrave beautifully, I haven't tried laser cutting them yet but I think they will work perfectly if I use a more powerful watt laser. I used them to make a miniature dollhouse all cut by scissors it was so fast and easy I'm in love and will definitely come back here to repurchase when I run out.

How much better would these samples have been, if they had a name or number naming the wood? Now that I can match the sample to a piece of furniture, what good does it do me if I want to know what the wood is, or what stain to buy or what larger piece of veneer I might need, or what furniture would match the species?
