Oil Color Artist Tube Paint, 21ml, 24-Pack

I started with doing the background on this painting. I did not add any additives to the paints, used them straight out of the tubes. It has been 3 weeks now and the paint is still slightly tacky. The painting has been kept in a room at room temperature. I would never buy these paints again. I don't care how inexpensive they are definitely not worth it.UPDATE: After waiting months for these paints to dry I had to throw my art work in the garbage along with these paints. A total waste of money.

These paints are of a good consistency and texture.. They blend well and aren't super thick.. but still thick enough to dilute or pad on texturing (also easy to wipe up). Though.. be warned.. These are oilier paints than some and they can take a while to dry if you don't have the necessary heat. If you let them sit to long without drying, you may notice some oil seeping into areas of the canvas that weren't covered around the painting area(even if you applied 2 coats of gesso). This happened to me with a painting I let to slowly naturally dry for a week and I had to touch up those areas. Overall. Good quality and would buy again.

Works well. I paint wet on wet the paints cover nicely.

The price of these oil paints are so reasonable. The color range is great, and the consistency works well for me. I liked the fact that there are two whites in the kit. A more transparent Chinese white and the regular titanium white. Wish I could get a larger tube of Chinese white. The main reason I bought these was for the tube of Chinese white, but the bonus is the rest of the colors.

This product is NOT a good one. I bought it for my painting class because I thought that the paints would be good enough to at least compare with the more expensive ones.If you are an art student, don't bother with these. They're okay for recreational use but if you are trying to work on developing more skill in a short time, these paints will just be frustrating. There's a lot of filler in these, which means that they have more liquid in them than pigment. When using mineral spirits or liquin to paint with, this is really gonna make the color diluted and more transparent.Granted, they are a lot less expensive. But to say that they are "artist" paint is a blatant lie. They are under the quality of studio and student paints, let alone artist quality.

I wanted to get back into painting after many years (still a beginner), and didn't want to spend a lot on supplies. I am very pleased with these paints. It's a great variety, and they go on smoothly and cover well. The smaller tubes (21ml) are also lasting longer than I thought they would. In the future I might buy higher quality paints, but for now these are just great. Just a suggestion: white goes fast so you may want to buy an extra tube like Windsor & Newton.

For the price they are good, I just hate that they are really transparent. 2 years on and the paintings still not fading. Works best for impasto

These aren't bad, especially for the price. I've used it in several pieces with no problems. For the quantity/quality and price it's worth the buy. They aren't professional grade (all buttery all the time) but they aren't really student grade either, as they do have a decent consistency. I've come across some so called artist grade and they were extremely leaky. However these were worth the price and quantity.

I receive 12 ml. tubes.... very disappointing

Nice range of colours. Good delivery especially as in lockdown paints were hard to come by. A great set to get me started as a beginner of oil painting.

Instead of 21ml I get 12ml. Please be honest in description.
