Small unit Didn’t expect so much.
I was so surprised how well this worked right out of the box. I needed something to run my overhead speakers in the office.( 4 speakers) i was able to use an old laptop DC Power supply. Power rating was 12 to 24 V DC. Remote worked perfect. This unit is so tiny not too much larger than a can of Spam. Lol. I have it connected via Bluetooth to my tablet playing music. Speakers were loud enough that I didn’t have to turn the volume up all the way. I have a small office and just wanted some low volume background music. I have only had it for a few days and if it lasts for awhile I would recommend.

Cheap, amplifies sound, compact and good bluetooth distance
I'm not sure how they rate watts of output but I hooked this up to a benchtop DC power supply and ran it at 13.5 volts. Peak current draw from the power supply was just over 1 amp. Maybe the power supply is not reacting fast enough to pick up spikes in current draw, but it appears that it doesn't take the 5 - 10 amps recommended (the power supply I used is capable of 10 but it wasn't necessary). It appears this could make for a pretty decent compact amp system with a 12-24v lipo system as a base. As long as it's not cranked past 8 or so it seems to do a decent job with sound quality for the money. I've got this in my office at work, and I went up a flight of steps and down a hall today with my phone in hand and it never lost its BT connection, roughly 75 feet, and definitely not "line of sight," so that part is awesome.

Very portable with 18v Ryobi battery, Dayton Audio Exciters and USB stick
Using 24"x19" plastic signs from HomeDepot w/Dayton Audio Exciters stuck on back, the 18v Ryobi battery and a USB stick w/MP3's I can throw this small pkg in jeep and then stick the "signs" in the ground and I'm ready for some outdoor sound. The remote has limited range and seems to only lower the volume from the dial on front but everything else is fine. Inexpensive but not 'cheap' so read the descriptions carefully and see if this will meet your expectation.

Pulsing hiss. Bluetooth doesn't work. Not as cheap as it looks.
My iPhone XS Max refuses to connect to this via Bluetooth—it will see the device and attempt to connect, but always fails. Also, when it is on there is a pulsing hiss of background static that pulses in time with the throbbing red light around the volume knob. It's not that loud, but if the unit is on and not playing anything, it's definitely noticeable. Also, there's no 1/8" input (aka aux jack, headphone jack) on this so if you want to use a device that outputs via a 1/8" port (super common) you will need an RCA adapter cable. Finally, while the advertisement is clear that this amp does not come with a power supply, that does mean that you are going to pay about $15 more than the listed price if you want to be able to actually use this thing—so it's not nearly as cheap as you'd think if you're comparing it to other similar units that do come with power supplies. On the whole, I think this is not worth buying. It's cheap, but not as cheap as it looks, and it doesn't really work very well.

Getting what you pay for
I bought this to power two small bookshelf speakers I had set up in the bathroom. Initially when I opened the package mine did not come with a power cable included at all. I luckily had one laying around for an old router that matched the port on this, so that was annoying to start. For the first day the amp worked awesome, drove my speakers fine, went plenty loud, and Bluetooth connected and worked no issue. The second day of use my music would cut out and a loud banging/record screech sound would come out of the speakers and then resume playing music. It did this through Bluetooth or wired in with the RCA connectors to an AUX cable. The third day I couldn't get it to make the noise like it did so many times the previous day and seemed to be working fine without issue. If the cutouts come back ill be returning this. You get what you pay for, a $30 amp sold under multiple different companies. Also the remote works but only from very short distances and have to have it pointed directly head on with the unit, even from a slight angle it wont work.Update - After that first day the banging / record screech sound never came back and has been powering my bookshelf speakers without issue. Still only 3 stars for overall quality, missing power cord, and low quality remote, but it works and for me was worth the price.

Upgraded from Pyle 2x40
Got this as a replacement as my Pyle 2x40 was getting old and the volume knobs started getting some static in them. My speakers now distort after about 50% volume (a good thing). I'm not going to upgrade my speakers they are plenty loud at 50% volume. :) It's nice only having to put this thing at 50% instead of 100% with my old one that wouldn't put out max volume anymore. At 50% it doesn't even get warm to the touch. I love all the new features, inputs and outputs with a higher power amp. The VU meter is unnecessarily bright and distracting because I sit right next to it. One of the nice things about the 2x40 was no VU lights blinding me. Gonna put some black electrical tape over those LED's.

Nice little amp!
Don’t know about all the 1 star reviews but with anything you have to read the instructions and have the correct power supply as this doesn’t come with one. I’ve had my little power house amp hooked up for months in the hot AZ desert. The little amp powers 2 in ceiling speakers in my back patio! And the sound is great. The Bluetooth works great! I’m able to hook up my phone and other BT transmitters with ease. The only downfall it only allows one BT connection at a time. It draws very little power so you can leave it on. Hope this helps!
