Love it on vegetables

Great on chicken, haven't had a chance to try it on anything else. Product is packaged in plastic bag inside of tin shaker, so remains fresh until use. I put about a third into shaker, taped bag shut, and stored in small jar for freshness. The seasoning is a pleasant, mild lavender, well balanced with lemon and salt.

Excellent product

I am never disappointed with Gustus Vitae Sea salts. Great taste. Sometimes, if they have rosemary or other larger seasonings in them, they don't come out the shaker holes well. Only the salt falls out, leaving the other seasonings behind. I find that I have to take the lid off and just pinch the salt out to get all of the seasonings. I wish I could just shake it out, but it isn't that big a deal. I still like them.

For this review, I warmed up some green beans and sprinkled this salt over them. Lemon flavor seems to go well with green beans, so I thought it would be an easy way to review. While I appreciate the complete flavor profile (the way the flavors melded together), I was disappointed that the lemon flavor was so faint. I love lemon so much more than rosemary, so it would be nice if this salt had that kick that lemon brings. I also tasted the salt on its own, pretty much all I could taste was the rosemary. Also, it seems I had to use a lot of this salt to adequately flavor my food. *Note to company* If you can find a way to bring out the lemon flavor, I think you would have a real winner.

Lemon Rosemary Sea Salt is excellent on fish or fowl. If you like different gourmet salt, this is a great addition to your collection. It has a great taste and works well with fish or chicken.

I was very excited to try this since I am a huge fan Of lemon pepper and go through a few jars a year. This unfortunately didn’t have much of a lemon flavor and the rosemary was almost ground to a powder. There isn’t much texture to this. It being ground to a fine powder almost seems to lose the expected flavor.
